I highly doubt it. Everyone seems to forget that at Cesena, Giaccherini was a Second Striker. He has no problems playing there. Hell pribably partner Matri up top tomorrow. Would be interesting to see Iaquinta though.

To be honest its hard to understand why Conte doesnt actuslly prefer Iaquinta. He was always famous for his passion and workrate more than anything else, which is exactly what Conte looks for.

People seem to forget how much Iaquinta declined after his injury.. Asking for Iaquinta just shows how desperate we are to get a real striker. Sadly he is finished, I always liked him and he has done so much for our team but can't add anything any more. Huge respect for him, but I'd rather see someone else converted into a striker for today.

where did people get this crap from. iaqinta is never playing for us again regardless of whatever striker issues we have. its either giacherrini or marchisio partnering matri...i guess they might interchange during the game...

Unless this is incorrect, no Iaquinta. I think this was all just a ridiculous rumor. Conte would probably play Beltrame before he started a player he has never used in his seasons with the club.
