Honest to god what are you talking about? Can you not even watch a game we're winning without finding something to whine about? The foul wasn't even talked about in the halftime highlights, and nobody on QPR seemed to feel it was that bad. Clearly unintentional, and you should F*** off.
You didn't see Steven Gerrard slap that QPR player in the face around the 30 minute mark? It wasn't called a foul, though. It's still disgraceful behaviour to be honest, but it was a good performance by almost every player. Luis Suarez was absolutely brilliant, one of the best in the Barclays Premier League.

Borefest of a second half. But we got the job done and now we can look forward to Sunderland game and hopefully we sign some good players.

Gerrard is easily the second best attacking outlet our thin squad has right now. Your arguments are pointless until Gerrard stops getting these continuous goals/assists or some scrub like Shelvey or Sahin start doing things that will get noticed.
The assist was not even that decent, to be honest. Daniel Agger had to make up quite a bit of ground, and of course we got lucky. It was a well placed powerful header, but if Queens Park Rangers Football Club had any bit of tactical knowledge or defending abilities, that would have not been a goal. A simple player on the goal-line would have sufficed.

There is no way that it could be classed as a natural movement. Gerrard was moving away from the player, and was battling for sole possession of the football before the strike.

Yes that was bad defending by QPR, But im not talking only about this assist. Also wondering if Joseph Allen would have made that cross, I would have expected him to pass it sideways to Gerrard who would kick on the attack.
Anyways, His contribution to the team has helped us reach a position where we are now, Without that/him i dont even think we can be called a midtable club.
Anyways, I see you hate Gerrard. I don't and I still think he is one of the best players on the pitch for us, Dont see anymore need for discussion on this matter, Its a clear matter of choices. We'll just agree to disagree.

Re: QPR vs Liverpool | 30th December 1600GMT | Sunday | Premier League |
Surprisingly not much to comment on here as the match was tactically dull and bland. QPRs gameplan was perfect aside in the sense they kept a deep line and positional reference points. Except they forgot the pressing, counter attacking movement, shape of the line and that they are a team. Suarez nothing more to say except he was god damn brilliant. Gerrard was the motm for me as today we saw him given a free role in which he excelled comfortably, was everywhere on and distributed superbly. Henderson for all we expect of him didn't excel as if anything he seemed to get in Gerrards way and was underwhelming. Allen had a solid game in his distribution and kept his discipline in the absence of Lucas. Sterling had many touches on the ball yet did little with it and had trouble beating his markers. He also held on the ball longer than he should have. Downing as expected even when presurred little barely had more than 5 touches and was just a passenger. Our fullback combination worked well in tande
as enrique in particular has continued his combative performances on the left.
Aside from that we cannot comment all to much on this match since QPR tactically were very poor and didnt even put up a fight at all. It's quite frustrating to see that since this doesn't give any indication of our progress at all. QPR is a very poor team lead by a mediocre manager as all the lack of wins has made them forget to actually win.
Nonetheless let's revel in our 3 points away and a brace for Suarez along with Danny Aggers wonderful aerial header (our best man in the air by far).
I do wish we could've done more in the 2nd half as little was created against a side which didn't put up a fight.

When watching Sterling you can tell that he has gotten used to being able to dribble past opponents in the reserves and at youth levels. He keeps trying to do that in the Premier League, but fails too often because defenders are better. Hopefully he will improve his decision making in this matter.

That's a lie.

It depends on the severity of the tear. If it was a grade 1 strain, it would heal quickly, say 2-3 weeks. If it was a grade 3 strain, he'd be out for months.
