GL seems to load quicker with AdBlock off.

So how do you fix that chat scrolling up problem on chrome?

I've been checking task manager recently and I closed a google chrome process which was taking up a lot of memory. It then showed the 'he's dead jim out of memory etc' on the goallegacy tab. I've done that a few times now.

However when I reload the tab, the memory is low. Not sure how the memory keeps going higher.

Anyone else have this problem?

The only problem i am getting from chrome is the page keeps crashing with " oh snap blablabla "

Go on that button with the 3 lines towards the top right of chrome, then go on options and then task manager. Open a new Goal Legacy tab and check the memory straight away of GL on task manager. Then after a few hours check it again.

The memory goes up on some sites. Have to end the process on the chrome task manager.

used to have this problem and now i fixed it. Basically what happens is that Chrome is coming with a preinstalled version of Shockwave, but you have a second version of shockwave that you install through flash. So in essense, Shockwave is installed twice on your chrome and it's going to make your browser crash a lot.

To fix it,
-type "chrome://plugins/" in the address bar
-click on shockwave and confirm that you have two versions of shockwave
-proceed to disable the version installed in windows/system...(so you leave shockwave installed in the google folder)

restart your chrome, verify that the second shockwave is disabled and you wont have problems anymore.

You mean this sh*t? I hate this when my Chrome has lot of tabs.

Chrome isn't really good with flash

it's better with Flash than is Firefox, especially given the fact that Firefox runs that stupid plugin-container which hogs a lot of memory

That's why i moved to Chrome lol. But despite being better than firefox on that, it's still not very good.

They ruined both the browsers with the updates.

There's a firefox based browser called Pale Moon. It basically takes firefox and removes all the unnecessary crap to make it faster. Works really well for me...

it takes longer for things to load on my computer than phone so I have just abandoned my computer now

Is it the shockwave that makes the tab memory increase?

my chrome racking up memory s just stupid. i have to close my brower multiple times a day and restart it fresh now, otherwise it's impossible to use it at some point

Firefox ends up taking too much of the PC task manager memory, while Chrome tabs end up taking too much of Chromes task managers memory.
