Well history repeats itself again..

The last team outside the Top 4 to win the CL before Chelsea(Liverpool won it as a 5th place team) failed to win CWC against Sao Paolo.Incidently Benitez was Liverpool coach at the time too.

Chelsea won the CL as a 6th place team and lost the CWC to Corinthians today with Benitez as coach.

I'm not sure but that was the inaugural year of the tournament, so they held it in the Maracana and Corinthias was chosen as either League Champs or runner-ups.. forgot.

I really cant believe Luiz is crying.lol (I mean considering he is still relatively a newbie to the club)

I am not sure if it was genuine or just a bit of emotional drama.Or maybe it was just out of the fact that he couldnt digest the defeat in a major cup final.

Cuz he lost to the team that everyone hates to love and loves to hate in Brazil...

Kinda like how Dinho cried after losing to his arch-nemisis Internacional since he was a Gremista, just a lesser extent for Luiz since his old Brazilian team isn't our arch-rival.
