hmm giving more slots to other countries would be better than expanding the current places for UCL in England,Spain,Germany,Italy. Poor countries need to develop their teams to develop and their football to develop so insteand of having for example in my country the 1st placed in the league goes in qualification instead of that make the 1st to go to group stages it will help a lot !

Agreed. I wasn't so amused that FC Basel had to go through the whole CL quali either. I mean, they just won the Swiss double by quite a margin and had to start in the 2nd CL quali round! :facepalm:

Pros:
- More money for mid-table teams, which would increase competetiveness and overall quality of most leagues

Cons:
- Everything else Very Happy

- Barcelona & Chelsea vs Viktoria Pilsen & Molde FK
(no chance for the minnows, and boring matches for neutrals)
- With no EL to fall back to, teams will take even less risks: more draws, I hate draws
