Chelsea face off against West London rivals Fulham on Wednesday night in what promises to be a very interesting London derby. Martin Jol's Fulham side will doubtless be looking to take advantage of a side who've not won in the Premier League in over a month, and not won any at all in almost as long, while Chelsea players will certainly be looking to impress and make a case for themselves to their new manager.

In the first match after the sacking of beloved club hero Robbie Di Matteo, home supporters put on an impassioned and vociferous display of both affection & gratitude towards their departed icon and his achievements with the club, as well as dissatisfaction over his replacement, Rafa Benitez against Manchester City on Sunday. The match ended in a boring 0-0 draw, and the pressure is without a doubt on the newly-arrived Spaniard to start picking up some much-needed wins.

However, if recent history is anything to go by, this match will be a tight, evenly-matched affair. The 3 games between these 2 sides last season yielded two 1-1 draws in the league, as well as a narrow victory for Chelsea in the Carling Cup edged out just slightly on penalties.

Fulham will be without Bryan Ruiz, Alex Kacaniklic, Kieran Richardson, and Simon Davies, while Chelsea remain without English trio Frank Lampard, John Terry, and Daniel Sturridge.
