Hala you will probably like this one. No Right foot but Magic in the left. Gento was an all attack guy, left winger, has a little bit of Ozil and Di Maria in him but this game he played exclusively on the left.

Some of the flicks he does are ridiculously difficult.

Unfortunately not a full performance but a great one nonetheless. A 18 year old Raul just takes over with us being down to 10 men and a goal down and carries us to a 4-1 win with 2 goals and 2 assists.

Yea, one of the most elegant players I've ever seen. He just waits fo the ball until the last instant and then uses other players momentum against them...the best at that particular aspect of the game.

The squad we had that year was nearly perfect. We needed Ronaldinho instead of Figo in the summer(2003) because he was starting to show his age, a midfielder to play alongside Maka(Vieira) and a CB because Hierro was 35.

In light of the game on Wednesday, I thought it would be cool to post a video of our best comeback against German opposition, and indeed , one of the best comebacks in the history of European Football. Coming back from a 5-1 deficit away - we one 4-0 to progress with doubles from Valdano and Santillana....but the real highlight was a masterclass from Juanito. Got chills as he came off.

After 32 years of waiting we won the CL in 98. In the final we had to beat a much better Juventus team, with Zidane, Davids, Del Piero and Lippi playing in their third consecutive final. Mijatovic scored one of the truly important goals in our history that night.

you mean instead of beckham....

I wouldn't have bought Beckham. We just needed to sell figo and buy Ronaldinho, Vieira and Nesta. Nesta and Vieira should have been bought in 02 though

nesta would not have come. we made a move for vieira, i think before his last year at arsenal, so maybe around 04 or 05, but negotiations were very difficult from arsenal's end (they still had dein at the time), and flo was super confused. the guy flo really went out for was chivu, but for whatever reason he never wanted to play for us, he must have refused up to 3 offers from us. i say becks shouldn't have been signed cos he was an expert crosser of the ball, but neither ronaldo nor raul were known for their heading exploits. the good header was moro and he was sold

also we already had more than enough fk takers. figo was getting slow, but damn the dude was a workaholic, almost to a fault....he'd get unnecessary reds (not anywhere near as bad as ramos) and even almost ended a players career with a crazy lunged tackle
