Petkovic: 'Juve are too strong'
Vladimir Petkovic sees Lazio having “passed the test” at the Juventus Stadium, although he wanted to see them be more attacking.
“Yes, we have passed the test and I am happy, even if we suffered a bit too much at the back,” he said of the 0-0 draw.
“We attempted to attack them a few times, but Juventus are too strong and put us under pressure for the entire match. We need to believe a bit more.
“Thanks to our goalkeeper and our defence, we managed to defend the result. We should’ve had more courage and played with more responsibility, as we could’ve done more in the last 10 minutes.
“It was almost impossible to get to the Juventus penalty area, as they were very aggressive and deserve praise for their performance.
“Nonetheless, this is a good point for our confidence and our table.”

Re: Petkovic: 'Juve are too strong'
Very respectful words
Honestly, its games like these that Juventus lacks that 'go-to' striker
Giovinco thinks that it's him, and boy is he wrong. So wasteful and rather selfish too.
I mean in the first half he had two chances, one after another. Both times he had Quagliarella in space next to him, both times he went for his own shot. Both times he failed to even hit the net.
Well played from Lazio

Re: Petkovic: 'Juve are too strong'
I hope people aren't going to get on Quags back after this, he was not passed to in crucial moments and his reaction shot from Vidals shot would have probably gone in on any other given day had it not been for Man of the match Marchetti.
Giovinco tries too hard which is almost as bad as not trying enough. He gets crowded and ignores a simple outlett in search of a long range pass.
The same could be said of his shooting, instead of rolling it past the keeper he seems to believe the best option is the top corner curving goal. Wrong, wrong and wrong again.
