Could this work?
Exchange Quags for Torres?
Quags have been in better form so far this season scoring 8 goals in 11 appearances (from 2 competitions,Serie A & UCL) while Torres has 7 goals in 18 appearances (from 3 competitions,EPL,UCL & FA Cup)
Torres is younger by a year but do you think an exchange would do both clubs good?

Re: Could this work?
I would not be up for this, really don't want Torres anywhere near Juventus.

That's only true if I thought Torres would improve the team, I would have Padovan start for us before this.

Re: Could this work?
I didn't say I wanted this...
But do you think if this exchange was to happen, could it be successful for both clubs?
For me, Torres is not a CF...
He need a striker to support him up top while on the other hand I think Quag is a great CF....
But if you notice the formation both team uses...Juve with 2 strikers in the 3-5-2 & Chelsea with one CF in the 4-2-3-1

Clicked on it, seen Matri
Like I say all the time in the chat, I am confident that I am better than Matri these days, sign me up Juve/Chelsea. I will NEVER complain about being benched and I accept 25k/week.

You don't think I can miss 3 sitters a game, lose the ball and fail to make simple passes?
You don't understand how bad Matri is.

Re: Could this work?
While Chelsea are thought to value him at €8m (around £6.4m), it's believed that Juventus are holding out for a figure closer to €13m (£10.4m).

Matri for Torres, now i'm listening...
Infact, Matri for 6.4M? We would be fools not to accept.

Re: Could this work?
Matri the man to save Chelsea... Oh, please let that happen. Matri's not a bad striker, but at his best he's no more prolific than Torres in his current form. Moreover, Torres at least tries to create for his teammates. Matri wouldn't do that for Chelsea.
In my opinion, Llorente is exactly what Juve need. A big, powerful target man that lurks in the box and finishes chances. Juve's got several great second-strikers, but no line-leader.
As for Chelsea, they need a CF that will finish, and is capable of playing as a lone striker. I'm thinking Balotelli would be perfect. He needs the limelight that Chelsea/London would give him. Moreover, he would have the ability to be the "savior" of Chelsea's season. He's also perfectly capable of doing the job they require. As an added bonus, the drama and fireworks-in-the-bathroom type events could produce enough hilarity to justify the move all on their own.

Tredy I must correct you on one thing. Llorente has the common misconception that he is a Standard targetman but the fact is he is at his pure best when playing a free False 9 role in which is frequently allowed to drop deep and create for Athletic. Bielsa's predecessors' often made the mistake of playing him as a sole target men but the fact is he is more closer to Ibrahimovic then a Peter crouch. For Juventus, he will need to play in the same mould as Vucinic as both will need to play their respective false 9 and SS roles. What Conte can do is play a more Italian system with creative freedom given to both individuals whilst also giving chance to their clinical midfield. If Llorente is played as a 9 he will fail.

Yeah but Torres has actually got a few goals and he can create.
I'm not joking when I say out of Form Matri is useless.

I suppose that's fair. I haven't had the opportunity to watch as much of Bilbao as I would like to. I am, however, aware that Llorente is far more than JUST a targetman. His linkup play is absolutely exceptional, and his footwork is underrated. By calling him a targetman, I meant more than just the traditional English targetman. I actually envisioned him as an advanced outlet to hold the ball up and create for his teamates, much in the same way Ibra does at PSG. Juve are perfectly capable of playing the ball early to Llorente and allowing him to distribute to an onrunning Vucinic, Marchisio, Vidal, Armero and Lichtsteiner. The best part is that he is also quite capable of getting on the end of crosses from Juve's wingbacks. That's more what I was envisioning in my previous comment, not the typical blunt instrument targetman that is commonly mentioned by nostalgic Premier League commentators.
Then again, I know you've had more opportunity to watch Bilbao and Llorente than I have, so I will defer to your judgement.
