Re: Sniejder Unplugged
He would be great at Dortmund.
Gotze - Sneijder - Reus
That is beast right there.
If he cant play as a CM, then Dortmund is the obly really good fit i see for him in.a big team, besides PSG of course. If he could play as a CM though, hed fit in alot.of places. Hes excellent at long balls so i see no reason why he couldnt also play as a DLP.

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
As far as his abilities go Sniejder can make a great CM, a regista, or a DLP as you suggested. The only reason he isnt playing in any of these positions however is his personal desire. Snjiejder probably wants to play in a more advanced position with little defensive duties, but since he cant play on the wing our whole setup would have to change to accomodate him and this isnt happening.

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
Why would you have to change your setup? Dont you play a 3-4-1-2? Sneijder in the hole behind the strikers with Cassano and Milito in front of him.

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
Would a swap with Kaka be acceptable
He would likely never join us but I'd try. I would really love to have someone in the squad who Mourinhio trusts , especially if that person is someone who won't simply acquiesce to Ronaldo's whims and fancies.
Would love to have him ; He would actually add a very interesting dimension to the team.

I'd be up for giving him to you for free..but swap with Kaka makes no sense cause we want to get rid of the high wages

we play 3-4-3 with Cassano in drifting in from the wing to an SS position and Guarin as a advanced CM. Sniejder's inclusion in the place of Palacio will not only deminish our width on the right flank, but it will also strip Cassano of so his freedom to pick up the ball from the deep.

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
“At this moment in time I have no reason to sign,” the former Real Madrid man commented. “How can I accept a new contract under these conditions when I am not even playing?
“As it stands, my decision is to not sign for Inter.”

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
Nobody mentioning that he is apparently contracted to Inter until 2015 anyway? If the club are just trying to make him accept lower wages then this is ridiculous.
And I don't think anyone but maybe Anzhi or PSG will pay above 15m for him, he hasn't been that special recently.

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
you can keep sniejder away from the pitch, but you cant take away his tweets !!
Wesley Sneijder has broken Inter’s Twitter embargo to send a message to fans: “For those who asked if I am called up for tomorrow, no I am not called up!!!"

If Sneijder moved to Milan in January , what would you be thinking about him ?
There's almost zero chance actualy , but let's hear it , just for the sake of it..

well, if you've been a fan of either Milan or Inter for more than a decade these transfers would eventually stop bothering you because they happen on a reguler basis.

well , i've been actualy , a bit more/almost a decade must be now. They do happen from time to time , yet it's been some time now since a significant transfer has been until Cassano and now it's our turn to take someone good in return .lucas.
There's no way Milan would pay him the money he still wants , that's why i say zero chance .
So , what would you be thinking about him ? Afterall , he was a protagonist in the 09-10 season , that's why i am asking mostly . I remember you all fapping just mentioning his name , what would you be saying if he moved to Milan now ?

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
Can somebody tell me why Wesley Sneijder should accept a paycut?
Bad management at Inter, because they should respect their own contracts and wen they continue to behave like this, with bashing him, Sneijder let them pay a price for it in court!

Yeah cause players always respect their end of the contract right? oh wait no they dont...
It was bad management to pay him so much based on 1 season - but asking him to take a pay cut is no different than a player asking for a pay raise...

Re: Sniejder Unplugged
Sneijder is not simular to "players" but is an unique person and player!
He is still one of the best playmakers around in football, put on the bench by some idiots!
Like this they throw their own money out of the window and destroy a wonderfull player!

so why do we need to pay 6m for a player who can only play in one system, who cant carry the team when they're down, and spends three quarters of the season injured. Milito is far from his Mourinho form but at least he scores a decent amount of goals that justifies his paycheck. what has Sniejder done for us since the triple ?
