Zeman is not to blame. He threw on Lamela to add pace down the flank and a better attacking edge. He threw on De Rossi because Bradley was not having a good game. And he threw on Destro because Totti was on a yellow card and was about to talk himself into a 2nd one. These subs were needed and we had plenty of chances after that.
It was Bergonzi's shitty officiating that cost us this match. I would've been entirely happy with a draw here because we were not good enough to win. Chievo's defense had a very, very good night.
After the match, Zeman refused to talk to the media and all Totti would say is "If I say anything, I'll get suspended".
That tells you just how pissed off these guys are. They were robbed of a point by a shat referee, not fog.

Re: Roma...
lol i bet on them for years now, they have earned my respect,BarrileteCosmico wrote:You bet on Roma? True to your name
i trust them no matter if its a home or away game well i trusted* them
but since zeman came into town things have changed
im not the one to tell, but for sure this current team is unpredictable.
i for one dont like it..
when i bet on 3 goals or more i usually or always win, today even that would have me dissapointed, but i know how chievo plays at home, i thought roma had this in their pocked
anyway doesnt matter anymore
still this roma team is win or lose, draw is not an option it seems to me.McLewis wrote:Idiot wrote:didnt even see any of these incidents, there was so much blur cause of the stupid fogRealGunner wrote:The referee ruined the game. It will be a good test to see how Roma react to today's defeat.
Three wins out of their recent four-game win-streak came against bottom-5 sides.

Good thing we're not aiming for top 4 then, eh? We're aiming for Top 3. I ultimately think we'll fall just short, but we'll be more or less where we started which is the EL spots. Europe is Europe after all for Roma.

That's always been the elephant in the room, hasn't it? Those bottom 5 sides do tend to make us work though. It's not like they were a walk in the park. The only side that really made short work of them so far is Juventus.
That said, our next match is against a resurgent Milan. They will not play the same game as Chievo and are far more likely to afford us more time on the ball, just as Fiorentina did. I think we'll have a better time of it.

Enjoy mate! I hope you have a great time and get a better result than I did when I went to this game. Bring it home for our section! Where are you sitting in the Olimpico?

I seriously have no idea as of where I will be seated, a friend of mine is organizing it for me, and I think it would be one of those VIP sections or whatever they are called.dostoevsky wrote:baresi wrote:That what happens when I dont watch a Roma game, same happened against Juventus.

I am loving the new partnership with Disney, I have free entry to the Roma Winter Training Camp at Disney Sports. Now I just need to decide what I want Totti to sign.

Roma v Viola in the quarter finals of Copa Italia. Should be the most entertaining game of the whole competition.

Re: Roma...
a good indicator about double standards when Roma's in question:
The "Lega Serie A" has decided that we'll play our Coppa Italia quarter-final against Fiorentina in FIRENZE, and not ROME, as it should have been (as we were seeded in the draw). They decided they should assign Lazio to play their quarter final at Olimpico instead of Roma.
disgrace .

Re: Roma...
Grazie Roma. What a team, the score line should have been worse for Milan but the red card saved our asses from further humiliation.
Have tons of pictures will post as soon as I get a new laptop since I forgot mine in the train to my way to Parma . Luckily my camera is still with me.
And on the game I don't blame anyone for our lose our team sucks as simple as that.

Unlucky that you had to witness your team lose when you watched them live but atleast you saw a great game
Rome is a beautiful pace, how was it for you?
When i went I made sure that I brought my football everywhere. I remeber priests coming out of St.Pauls having a game of keepy-up with me. Pure tekkers! Italian Priests
