Yeah, I'd defo like to see Ibe (and Sterling) get some chances in the first team. It's just that if we continue to play with wing-backs instead of wingers that will reduce their chances of getting minutes quite a lot Neutral

Well I wouldn't really be worried about their minutes this season, they are only 18 and 17 respectively and are definitely not good enough to start for us just yet. I'm glad Rodgers is playing a system that suits the squads strengths as opposed to wondering where he would possibly give minutes to Sterling or Ibe.

I didn't mean that we should change system just to accommodate youngsters, just otherwise lamenting the fact that Sterling and Ibe are finding it hard to fit into the first team as I believe they would be good enough to be playing more minutes.

Although I wouldn't mind giving Ibe a try as wing-back (or Sterling another chance there) since Johnson, Cissokho and Enrique have been average there.

It's weird, you know. Suso looked out of depth when he got chances in the red shirt last season, but now he's beasting it in a struggling La Liga side.

Aspas was beasting it in a struggling La Liga said last season and is looking out of his depth for us.

Suso never looked out of his depth when he was playing for us last season, I don't know where you got that from Art. He held his own very well for an 18 year old I must say.

Maybe out of his depth wasn't the best description, but he didn't look good enough to be a regular. And now he's Almeria's best player. And Aspas was Vigo's, I guess, but hasn't looked good enough for us. It's peculiar. Makes me wonder whether Suso will come back an improved player or is just easier in La Liga for his and Aspas's type of players.

Probably the chance (playing every week) to make a difference (he is a key player for Almeria) made him (Suso) hungrier while getting the best package (wage) while not being burdened (playing third fiddle) sucked the hunger out of him (Aspas).

However, I do think the difference in style (La Liga vs. EPL) is a issue. However insignificant that may be.
