Özil was blocked all night by man of the match: Busquets. I don't think anyone can deny that.

AMs shouldnt be deployed against Barcas sides imo. Modric could have easily had better overall performance. Still he had moments, and even delivered when shouldnt given his current form.

His 2nd half was great, fast transition, dribbling, penetration, final pass, it's all there, couldn't even remember he lost the ball in 2nd half.
But even in the seemingly average first half, Ozil's move from the flank was the origin of all clear chances Madrid had in first half: the first goal, Benzema volley, Benzema and Di Maria double missed. But of course we can only picking on a few moments where he lost the ball and fell, never mind the hardwork part.
And of course we could still label him as a flop player vs Barca, nevermind his consecutive solid and decisive performance vs Barca in recent clasicos

Then we should start a thread Lacen vs Busi, because Ozil was worse then, he was subbed out at half time iirc

Fact is, Ozil has started this season poorly, the fact the he only has one assist proves that, despite that he was great against Barca in SuperCopa, go figure

Busi never gets the better of him ffs, the only thing Busi does is trying to injure Ronaldo ffs
