I dont really see Isco being a CM for much longer, at a bigger club he'll move further forward up the field.
@Surag. whats so funny bro?
injury prone means getting injury many times......Wilshere as only been injured once which was the long term one, other then that he has never been injured....

Re: Isco?
Rodgers much rather waste 18m on Ince+Sturridge than saving it for him. We have no chance of getting this kid.

We've signed the following since Rodgers has been in charge:
-Sahin (loan)
-Assaidi
-Allen
-Borini
-Yesil
Only Joe Allen is British.

Re: Isco?
Yeah i now realise a lot of the british signings were done by Kenny.
But still, a fair few of your main players are british. Maybe its just my opinion but I see liverpool are indeed going for a quite British team recently.
Carroll, Henderson, Allen, Cole, Downing, Kelly, Sterling, Shelvey, Flanagan and now with the interest in Sturridge and Ince. You must see my point?
Compared the the rest of the big english teams anyway.

Obviously a good one lol.
I dunno if Khedira and Alonso fit it though. Modric does, but even so Khedira might still be somewhat an issue.

Re: Isco?
Isco getting the nod over ronaldo?
I mean, it isn't like he's been our best player this past month and a half. Nothing like it.

Re: Isco?
Isco would be a nice buy, but I think we will look towards James Rodriguez from Porto....but Isco ability to play on the Wing is interesting especially with all signs pointing to us selling Nani which is why I believe we will go for Rodriguez
how either of Chelsea/United gonna accommodate him in to their system
assuming Valencia(or that type of player has his place cemented to add width
Rooney and RVP undroppable and you made big signing in Kagawa
now add Isco and how those 5 playing in the same team?
chelsea already debatable on the use of all of their holy trinity
Man city can Replace Nasri with him(good luck getting rid of 180 kpw player )
He is exactly type of player we are missing Since the very same Nasri left

Re: Isco?
Would like to see Isco go to either Liverpool or Spurs with the playing style they play. Would suit him and would be needed in both clubs. A creative midfielder that at times both these two teams lack often...

We are interested in Sturridge and it does look like we're signing him. I'm personally not a fan. I am very much against his signing. But I'd like to know how does that make the clubs whole transfer strategy predominately in for British players?
We do have British players. There's no denying that. A lot of the players you mentioned have came from the academy, though. Oh, and more than half of the first teams core is non-British. It's true we hunted for players that were mainly British under Commolli and Dalglish but our scouting system today in general is much more broad evident by Rodgers signings and speculation linking us towards players in the BBVA and Bundesliga frequently.

Re: Isco?
You know why i dont want him in Madrid? Because despite his talent, therei s a high probability we will bench him most of the time while he needs to play to continue his development. Also one bad patch of form which is natural will just lead to a lot of madrid fans calling for his head and wanting another toy on the market whether its neymar or gotze or whatever and he will be forgotten.

Re: Isco?
Very true, at this stage of this career especially he needs to be playing pretty much every single game. Honestly though from the top of my head I really can't see a "top" club which actually can fit him in, unless he drops his expectations and goes to Liverpool or Spurs.

I agree. He should go to a team that's in the CL.

Re: Isco?
£17 millin buy out clause does he not? a big club will surely opt for that sooner rather than later
