Messi wins the Onze d'Or for best player 11-12.

Messi has won the "Onze d'Or" for best player of the 2011-2012 season (for 3rd time in his career), awarded by French football monthly Onze Mondial.

Onze d'Or for Best Player of 2011-12: Messi 47,45% - C.Ronaldo 27,95% - Falcao 6,10% - Benzema 2,24% - Xavi 1,38% - Ozil 1.38%

Zidane and Platini won it also three times, Maradona two times.

well it's like being tired to see Spain winning ( even by being boring ) , to see barca winning , to see federer being the only n1 ... ( back in the years )

we all like when top athletes are challenging each others , because otherwise it's boring But that doesn't mean they don't deserve it

I`m glad Messi won ahead of Ronaldo.

By the way... Van Basten should have 3 wins instead of 2....

I`m not sure which retard was handing out the votes in 1992 but how the f*ck can they have Stiochkov in first place ahead of Van Basten (second place)... Van Basten was far & away the best player in the world that year... he won both the fifa world player & European player of the year awards hands down that year, I`m not sure what drugs those Onze d`Or voter dudes were on back then but I`d like a smoke of whatever they were on.
