The future of football.
Just a thread to discuss the youngsters/wonderkids that look promising. Anyone under the age 21 would do.
Inspired by the Carl Jenkinson, Raheem Sterling, and to every youth thread based on a player in the main section, I felt the need to make a thread for the upcoming players instead of flooding the gen section with the younger players.
I don't really have the time to access the Serie A or the Liga BBVA anymore, so it'd be great for you guys to participate. Saying that, Bundesliga, Eriedivisie and the BPL should also be discussed.
NOTE: This is not a "X is better than Y" thread. This is purely a thread on just watching the players that can potentially be world-beaters in the future and help educate other posters on which youngster look gifted and what style they possess.
I'll start us off:
Raheem Sterling, 17 years of age, Liverpool Football Club, Winger, Half English; half Jamaican. Declared for England.
A tricky winger with pace, Sterling has established himself into the starting XI of Liverpool in Rodgers' reign. Rodgers has stated:
He has started 5 games this season, and has looked dangerous with his mazy runs and has a great tactical sense. His pressure is a massive trait he possesses. He hardly gives fullbacks time as he closes them down auto immediately. He has one assist in the league, though he has not yet broken his scoring duck.
Before the United game, he was 16th in the league for most created player - creating a chance every 38.57 minutes.
___
Before anyone mentions the The Serie A youngster thread, that looks more like a 'watch thread.'

Re: The future of football.
Alvaro Morata, 19 years of age, Real Madrid Club de Futbol, Striker, Spanish.
He's a target man with great pace. Has drawn comparison to former Liverpool and Real Madrid legend Fernando Morientes. For someone whose 6'3 he has great technique on the ball. His hold up play, aerial ability, and excellent movement got him a debut for Real Madrid first team at just 18 years of age. He's had 33 goals in 67 apps for Real Madrid Castilla so far.
Remember the name, and the remember the face.

SERGE GNABRY
Age: 17
Nationality: Deutschland
Position: Midfielder
Highly-rated winger Serge turned heads during an exciting first year with the Gunners.
The pacy forward joined Arsenal from VfB Stuttgart last summer and quickly established himself in Neil Banfield’s reserves, where he made six appearances and scored twice.
Germany youth international Serge also added another six goals in eight games for the Under-18s, including a sensational debut strike against Crystal Palace.
The teenager uses his raw pace and technical skill to great advantage and he was rewarded for his rapid progress with a professional contract in summer 2012.

Noah Shawn
Age: 11
Team: Bayern U-12's
Position: Right-Winger (formerly left)
(When he was 7:)

Noah is one out of a million children who loves playing soccer for his life. Whether he is talented or not, Noah was just playing for fun. The experience what we and especially Noah Shawn had with this 2 YouTube clips were differently. Some loved him and wished him luck, other people act very jealous and unfriendly. Actually we don't want to put him into the public life. So many TV stations and productions wanted to film Noah privately and put him on television, in few words wanted to make money out of him, but we decided to stay distanced because we want him to feel like a child. If he really should become famous then with every part of his and not just for moments when people want to make fast and easy money with him. Even when almost the whole world knows him already, he is still a totally natural child with a very normal life. Noah goes to school every day and we the parents go to work to earn our money to live a normal life! We always have stress to bring him to his training three times per week we work all day. But we try our best that he can be lucky and good in soccer!
Yeliz Shawn wrote:He is doing well but everybody who knows him from the beginning, like when he was 6 and 7 say that the way he plays totally changed with the years. And when you watch the videos and watch Noah Shawn right now you wont say that is the same child. FC Bayern prepared him to a totally different somehow usual player. He is still good in technical and you can see that. But you will not really see a lot of tricks when he plays

20 year old Gino Peruzzi is Argentina's future RB and considered one of the best upcoming talents in first division. His best personal accomplishment to date is keeping Nerman quiet for two legs in the Copa Libertadores, which they lost on penalty shootout. Also had a good showing in the recent "local" national team vs Brazil.

In 5 years I'm expecting to know all of these guys by heart. Don't post every other scrub, only those that in you opinion has the best chance of being part of the new generation of superstars.

Re: The future of football.
Tachtsidis is a 21 year old Greek powerhouse: 6’3 and 86 kg. A defensive midfielder with great technical ability, Panagiotis Tachtsidis came through the ranks at AEK Athens, where he broke into the first team in 2007, signing his first professional contract the same year. He made his debut in a Greek cup tie against Fostiras. His league debut came against Thrasyvoulos Fylis and in doing so he became the youngest player in AEK Athens history, having only celebrated his 16th birthday a few days before. In 2010 he signed a 5-year contract with Genoa. Just a few days into his stay on the Italian Riviera, he was sent on loan to Cesena with the option to buy. In January 2011 he moved on loan to Grosseto in Serie B. His first appearance for the Tuscan side came on 12 March in a 3-2 win over Pescara, with Tachtsidis laying on two of the goals. A third loan spell followed in summer 2011, this time to Verona where he became a starter in Mandorlini’s side. He scored his first goal in Italian football on 11 February 2012 during Hellas Verona v Ascoli. It was here that Zdenek Zeman - then coach of Pescara - first noticed him and, once the Czech returned to Rome he asked director of football Walter Sabatini to sign him. He becomes the fourth Greek to turn out for A.S. Roma after Choutos, Dellas and Eleftheropoulos.

Re: The future of football.
name:Andreas Cornelius
Position: Striker, target man
Height 193 cm
Weight 89kg
Date of birth: 16th of March 1993
Andreas Cornelius is a new comet in the Danish football league.
He has scored 9 goals in 10 matches for Fc Copenhagen, and has together with another young talent from Denmark (Nicolai Jørgensen) lifted FCK back to their old level, while competing with Lille for a CHL spot. Cornelius has exploded onto the Danish football scene in the last 2-3 months, this has resulted in a debut for the senior national team, at the age of 19.
Maybe Denmark has finally got the Striker that can be stable, mentally aswell as on the football field.
stats: matches(goals)
Superliga: 10(9) 1 goal pr. 80 minute
Europa League 1(1)

Re: The future of football.
Sebastian Coates, 18 years of age, Liverpool Football Club, CB, Uruguayan. Already capped for Uruguay.
Dominant in the air, great tactical positional sense and a threat from set pieces, Coates stands at 196 CM. Sebastian Coates is one of the most promising centre-backs in world football. He was voted the best young player at the 2011 Copa America with the likes of Neymar, Ganso and Lucas all in contention. He came up against the Aguero's of the world and didn't fail to dissapoint. He has had 14 appereances in a red shirt scoring 2 goals. He has won 2 league titles with his first club in Nacional. Coates scooped the Uruguayan Championship Player of the Season and Defender of the Season accolades in his last season at the club.

Re: The future of football.
Romelu Lukaku, 19 years of age, Chelsea FC, Striker, Belgian.
Standing at 1.9m tall, Lukaku is strong, powerful and quick. Lukaku has all the tools he needs to become a striker capable of leading the line for the best teams in the world. Scored 41 goals in 98 games for Anderlecht which earnt him a transfer to Chelsea. While he could not establish himself in the Chelsea starting lineup this is no surprise at the mere age of 18. In his loan this season he's already scored 2 goals in 4 games for the Baggies and is looking better in each game he plays. Has a big future and could easily be one of the best strikers in the world in a few years.
