You've been shite all season to be fair. Aside from the Wigan game you've been average/crap in pretty much ever other game.
That's why Fergie/Utd consistently do well year in year out tbf. Unlike other teams they don't need to play great to get favourable results.

Re: Super Sunday
LOL i'd be shite and get the points you do over being good and losing any day of the week.
Anyway it would just be like Liverpool to draw with Sunderland and City, lose to West Brom and Arsenal and beat United tbh.
Arsenal and Everton are the only teams who has impressed me performances wise anyway.
The rest are either playing poorly and getting nothing or playing poorly and knicking the results.

Am I the only one that thinks Arsenal is going to teach City a lesson??
I'm going with...City 1-3 Arsenal or 0-2 Arsenal...The Bould effect
In the other game I'm going with a 2-1 win for us. Shelvey

Re: Super Sunday
1-1 with us and United imo.
I agree with this a bit. But it's obvious we do better against the 'top sides' as they don't sit back with 10 men behind the ball. The game actually has a tempo in it.

Saturday games I'll be watching:
Swansea vs. Everton (4:45am local time)
Schalke vs. Bayern (6:30am)
Parma vs. Fiorentina (9:00am)
Juventus vs. Chievo (11:45am)
Barcelona vs. Granada (1:00pm)

I think United will win tbh. Liverpool are a good team but unless they raise their game they will find it hard to beat United imo.
City v Arsenal should be a great game. I think it'll be a draw but either team could knick a victory.

Re: Super Sunday
I'm pretty surprised to see the confidence in Liverpool to actually take full points from this game, especially considering the currents odds on Rodgers being the first manager to be sacked ( ).
That said, I do think we will come out with a good performance. The problem will almost certainly be the finishing of chances. LFC will likely control the majority of play only to struggle to get efforts on target in open play. United, on the other hand, are more than capable of "pulling a Sunderland" (it's strange describing it that way), allowing us to control the play and making the most of the chances they do get. As evidenced by Arsenal's trip to Anfield last season, Van Persie only needs two chances to score two goals. Moreover, they don't even have to be good looks. For my money, RVP is one of the most natural finishers in the world when fit and on form. You're playing with fire if you let him get a touch anywhere inside your 18-yard box. When you support him with Kagawa, Valencia, Nani, Scholes, etc., you can never count them out. ManU's attack is honestly a thing of beauty... Their midfield, on the other hand makes you want to go get a paper bag and cut out two eye-holes...
I expect LFC to play well, but get a draw at most. Most likely 2-1, with us scoring in the last quarter of an hour to make it respectable. (I'll be ecstatic if proved wrong.)
As for Man City v. Arsenal, I'm a bit torn. Man City played exceptionally well for the majority of 85 minutes against Madrid at mid-week. It can be argued that they deserved to walk away with the win. They played well, holding off a strong Madrid attack. The problem is that they switched off for the last 5 minutes + extra time. If the team can replicate their performance, especially that of the second half, Man City will win handily.
At the other end of the spectrum, Arsenal struggled to overcome a Montpellier squad that by all accounts is well off the standard they showed last season. It could be argued that Arsenal were gifted several decisions and let off the hook by Montpellier missing chances. Fair play to Arsenal, though. They came away with the win. However, it would be hard to describe that as a performance that will inspire confidence for the weekend.
With both teams playing on Tuesday, it's hard to say who will be affected more by the schedule. The only advantage I can see is that City have more depth, and can bring in quality players to replace those that started at the Bernabeu. For Arsenal, if Vermaelen, Diaby, Arteta, Cazorla or Podolski begin feeling the effects of the extra playing time, Arsenal do not have a suitable replacement on the bench. Because of that, I'm giving the edge to City. I'll 2-1 for the Citizens, with both of their goals coming in the second half.

LFC - MUFC draw or LFC win. Liverpool always raise their game vs United, no matter how bad Liverpool is now, they won't lose tomorrow.
MCFC - AFC one goal City win.

Liverpool Man U was a disappointing game not only in skill and entertainment but also in reffing. Not a good game overall.
