No matter what, sd are going through. Now Chelsea don't have a say in the proceedings. Because of head 2 head Juventus can draw any scoreline and Chelsea can win by any scoreline but H2H kicks in and we beat chelsea 5-2 on aggregate with 3 away goals to boot.

Shakthar are through to the knockouts, its confirmed actually..We just need to avoid defeat at Donbass to go through but i hope we dont show that type of mentality at Shakthar..Imo i think we should play to win that game.

I think Juventus will play to win, Marchisio will be missing due to suspension and that's already an unfortunate thing
We'll see what happens

Re: Chelsea - Juventus: CL Group Stage
So if Juventus beat Shakthar Chelsea are out regardless of their last result...
Juventus please don't scroll up, I am a big fan of Buffon and Juventus101.
on a second thought, even a draw between Shakhtar and Juventus will put both teams through, right....?
I always love to see EPL crash out early, I never miss a chance to do so.
clearly this season, City as usual with Cheski will be playing in the hall of shame.

Yes you are right..A draw between Juventus and Shakthar will put Chelsea out of the competition no matter how many goals they score past the Nords cuz Juve have a superior head 2 head record over Chelsea.

Re: Chelsea - Juventus: CL Group Stage
doont consider EL being a hall of shame they have great teams in there, only Atletico could have gone very far in CL had they been in it, but unfortunately they were coached by Manzano for a whole half season. after winning the EL they have gone on to win the Uefa super cup as well. that cup is definitely not a hall of shame

Good, Chelsea should accept their situation and play their last match with B team, there will be more dignity in that.

I hope so Luca and yeah its unfortunate..It will probably be Pogba's biggest game in his career so far.
Lots of work left to do still though..Delighted with how things went today.

The competition it's self is not a shame, but getting kicked out of CPL to EL is like hall of shame.

Re: Chelsea - Juventus: CL Group Stage
For Big Teams that lose out in the group stages of CL and go to EL, it is a shame. But those that make it through the league, it's not. It's a great competition to win imo.

Things couldn't have gone much better today
Too bad the finishing wasn't really 'clinical' but the ball crossed the line and that's all the matters in the end
Definitely, going to Ukraine to get a result won't be easy

Re: Chelsea - Juventus: CL Group Stage
Shit happens, luck wasn't with us today and better team in the end won.
2 deflections in the end were the goals that killed us, so I can't complain a huge load it was always going to be a tough ask especially when we don't have a striker and the only one capable of possibly doing the role gets injured and ruled out before the game.
I consider Chelsea out of the CL right now, but at least there's a glimmer of hope.
Why do you support one of your greatest rivals?

He doesn't. This is his usual post when we win.
