it happened while they were both about to fall on the ground, and the referee saw the front/right side of both of them while the attempted punch was from behind... not a single chance he could have seen that

It is not over, but I expect Barca to win it.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
No league finishes with 34 games to go. This is ridiculous. Madrid could easily go on an unbeaten streak for the next 20 games - this is La Liga. They could also beat Barca in a month, they did so very recently.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
So far ~10% of La Liga matches have been played. If 8 points is lost by a team during this short period, you wonder what can happen in the next 90%.
Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
if RM lose or tie the next 2 more games, while Barca win them all....then the chances are very slim for RM :I

The climate in Madrid shows that the current situation won't change for some weeks unless our players magically find their form, i expect the gap to get even larger.

On the other hand, the other team from Madrid have been looking very promising for a while...

Xabi telling Dive Maria to stay in the ground and make a meal out of it.. lmao how shameful and stupid of the ref to let that slide.halamadrid2 wrote:Here it is LMFAO, the only thing that got my mood up during the game because it looked so funny

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
considering we have already equalled as many losses as we did last year within the first 4 matches id say its impossible for us to acquire as many points as we did last year.
with that said i also think it will be difficult to win the league without some sort of miracle run of 20 something wins - including beating barca twice which we know will be difficult.
yes its early but the damage we have done will hold us down both in the table and mentally all year unless barca start giving up points.

Maybe Xabi wanted to calm him down lol, but this came after alot of Sevilla fouls on us and it was getting pretty heatedDonuts wrote:Xabi telling Dive Maria to stay in the ground and make a meal out of it.. lmao how shameful and stupid of the ref to let that slide.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
actually im pretty sure he did it to protect di maria from getting a card, di maria's action deserved at least a yellow if not a straight red, staying down even pretend to be hurt definetely helps the situation.halamadrid2 wrote:Maybe Xabi wanted to calm him down lol, but this came after alot of Sevilla fouls on us and it was getting pretty heatedDonuts wrote:Xabi telling Dive Maria to stay in the ground and make a meal out of it.. lmao how shameful and stupid of the ref to let that slide.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
8 point gap in week 4 = losing the league is def trolling.
Madrid can beat barca twice and that would be back to 2 points. I am saying they can beat barca because they can if Barcelona play the way they did in the super cup then god help them. They looked like a liga 2 team that day. I don't see this changing unless they go more direct against madrid. Barca will drop points as well just wait till February because that's when they always lose form.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
Xabi clearly pushes his chest down to tell him to stay on the floor, which yes is smart but how obvious does it have to be for the ref to do something, Di Maria and Sanchez dives are only going to get worse if the ref lets it slidehalamadrid2 wrote:Maybe Xabi wanted to calm him down lol, but this came after alot of Sevilla fouls on us and it was getting pretty heatedDonuts wrote:Xabi telling Dive Maria to stay in the ground and make a meal out of it.. lmao how shameful and stupid of the ref to let that slide.
Heated or not Sevilla players did fouls which they got punished for with yellows, attempting to punch someone in the face or kick someones leg when they are not looking is not football just stupidity.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
you think it was a DIVE????
edit: i agree it was stupid but it didnt hit him and prior to that he was effectively "beaten" by them, not the first time tbh

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
The first challenge to Di Maria wasn't a dive when he tried to superman punch his opponent he somehow fell to the ground then clutch his knees suddenly got up once the card was not given to him like nothing hurt him. Yes a dive.halamadrid2 wrote:you think it was a DIVE????

Just because it didn't hit him doesn't make it right, if I take a gun to a store and aim it a people I shouldn't get arrested because I didn't shoot it, that's why I disagree with the ref on this situation.

Pepe didn't even touch Alves that CL match yet he got a red.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
And the ref was wrong the only thing he was right was that it was dangerous play which does deserve a card for itself though I don't know about a red.Yohan Modric wrote:Pepe didn't even touch Alves that CL match yet he got a red.

Well there's been accurate replays and it looked like he didn't touch him.

Re: Have Madrid already lost the League?
Yeah yeah, when your players act like total duches, move the conversation to Avles vs Pepe. RM were playing and acting like shit. Nothing more to say, and there is nothing that you can say to make it look better.
