Udinese-Braga Match Day Discussion
1-0 Udinese goal.
A very powerful header by Pablo Armero from a delightful play by Fabbrini.
Di Natale has been playing deeper as SS yet the star of the show has been Fabbrini. Such a class playmaker. Guidolin would be stupid to bench him now. Great future for Italia.
Udinese dominating at the moment

Good stuff. Got money on them and hope they make it into the GS.
Funny thing is, I checked who scored and saw it was Armero...Could have sworn he joined Juve earlier this summer. Guess not!

You might just win as Guidolin both matches has tactically outmanoeuvred Braga's manager.
Armero? That was Asamoah. Not surprised your confused as both look alike and have a similar playing style.

For anyone in North America this match is on Fox Soccer if you got it so you don't have to hunt for a link

Re: Udinese-Braga Match Day Discussion
Yeah likely was Asamoah. I honestly think Udinese can and will go further than Milan providing they don't get dropped into a group of death.
Braga are better than a bunch of sides that will be in the CL group stages.

I predict Udinese coming in a group of death as Italian teams usually have such luck. Especially the lower Italian teams.
Braga are a solid side I agree. Made the EL final 2 years ago and are even better now.
Udinese's squad is talented, but to young and inexperienced along with have losing some key players. The key man is not Di Natale or Fabbrini but it will be Guidolin (their manager). He can be the difference for them as he is a very very underrated tactician. Brilliant mind

Yeah Juve signed Asamoah but were also linked with Armero.
Udinese should go through, I watched the first leg and I would like them to get to the CL for being so consistant over the last 2 seasons despite being well-known as a selling club.

To be honest their tendency to be a selling club is quite understandable unlike Milan since Udinese are incredibly restricted financially.
They were unlucky against Arsenal as that one went down to the wire. Guidolin is one who can survive if not thrive in the tactically open battlefield of Europe. It would be exciting to see them go through

Re: Udinese-Braga Match Day Discussion
I agree with that.
On Milan, I am shocked at how they've handled this whole transfer business.
I remember the Udinese-Arsenal games and Di Natale must have hit the post 2 maybe 3 times. It was a pretty even contest and it would be nice for DN to get into the CL after staying loyal to Udinese.

This is what Milan has become now. Yes we are opting for a whole new youth movement and all but the way its been handled is poor. 2 years ago you wouldn't catch me dead asking for Berlu and Galliani to leave. How things have changed.
I agree, it was hard to stomach how Udinese went out as Di Natale's missed penalty just took the wind out of them. Knowing Serie A luck they will get a hard group though

Very very poorly done by Armero. He didn't need to chip it from there as rounding off the keeper would have done. Could cost them dearly if Braga equalize.

I don't blame you for wanting them out. Milan, Juve, Inter etc are too big to be doing that to their fans who have come to expect the best from them. But Milan will bounce back in a couple of seasons I imagine.
I forgot DN missed a penalty too. It's a shame but most people thought that would be their last chance to qualify for years after the sale of Alexis. Looks like this time Udinese can go that step further.

Re: Udinese-Braga Match Day Discussion
Very poor by Udinese. Benatia really chokes in CL as they invited the pressure upon themselves. I don't see Udinese coming back into this game as Braga look more motivated and fit.
Momentum has completely changed now as I predict Braga through now.

Armero again Thats why I never was a fan of Badu and Armero as they have piss poor decision making. Cost Udinese against Arsenal as well. Don't know how Di Natale puts up with that.

Di Natale has been pretty awful today too, so I doubt he has many complaints

To be honest he was good in the first half when he was being played deep. 2nd half he is being played as a lone striker without much support as this is costing him.
Plus his fatigue at this time of the game is always his weakness.
ET now as Braga look more fit compared to the fatigued Udinese.

I agree actually, I don't like seeing him play as a lone striker. It limits him and Udinese.
I swear, if Udinese blow this game I pray that they get relegated

Udinese always tend to choke. They are just like Napoli except Napoli are equipped for Europe (despite their lack of depth).
Fact is most of the players do not suit Guidolin's style as either its to tactical or technical for them. Their decision making is shocking.
I never thought they deserved it in the first place. Inter or Napoli would have been a better sight.

At least if the qualification will be decided by penalties, we know the winner.
Of course. Napoli rules !
