sagnik92 wrote:Barcelona wants to meet in the coming two weeks with Arsenal coach Wenger to hold talks on the transfer of Cesc Fabregas (24). [rac1]
Barcelona offer 25M-plus-5M-variables for Udinese attacker Alexis Sanchez (22). Udinese ask more money, plus a player, possibly Bojan. [md]
Barcelona have offered 25M for Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi (24). Villarreal want more for the American-born Italian. [don balon]
Cappa: "In Argentina, they are jealous of Messi performing better at Barça than at NT. Peoplie admire Iniesta or Xavi more than Messi." [rm]
Milan have offered centre-back Thiago Silva (26) as part of the transfer of Ibrahimovic, but Barcelona have rejected the proposal. [sport] :?:
So A.Sanchez is definitely higher priced than G.Rossi. That makes sense.
Who is Cappa?
The last line just has to be a joke.

Have you been linked with Vertonghen recently or have most of your alternative centre-back rumours gone cold?
Vertonghen, Sakho and Rakitskiy some time back but no recent developments.
Re: Transfer Rumors
Khaledbarca wrote:Rossi to Barca ( UPDATE)!
Barcelona's first offer for Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi (24) was 17M+10M variables, based on player's and team's performances.
Villarreal ask 30M for Rossi. The clubs will meet again in the coming days, with Barcelona planning to slightly improve their bid.
[sport]

imo 22M + 5M variables is enough!
That sounds almost like a done deal. Overpriced at least by E2m but not too bad perhaps.
Re: Transfer Rumors
The Franchise wrote:Rossi is worth no more then 22m in my opinion.
I know lesser players have gone for more then that, which is why actually his price is so high, but his true value to me is about 22m.
When Rossell said ManCity and Chelsea have bloated up the prices, he should have also mentioned Liverpool - 20m for Hendersson.
I agree with your evaluation but we will likely pay at least a little more than that.
Re: Transfer Rumors
The Franchise wrote:I agree, I dont mind overpaying if it means no Cesc. lol
Though, I would rather overpay for Sanchez then overpay for Rossi.
I did like what Rossell said though, he makes sense.
Something like, "last season we offered 40m for Cesc, they said no, he has lost value since then".
He is correct, not by huge amounts, but his contract has one year less on it but more importantly he continues to miss games due to injury.
1. Agreed but overpaying for A.Sanchez might been paying much more than what overpaying for G.Rossi would mean.
2. Spot on. I said the same thing in another thread. Apart from all that you said he is also coming off a poorer season.

Pastore is a big question mark. Mostly because of the price that troll zamparini is putting on him. However, he is pretty versatile and can *probably* link well with messi.
I can't see him adding much value in the forward line while for the midfield he will be a very expensive bench option. Tell that troll Zamparini that it's crazy to ask so much for a player who is yet to become a regular starter for his country in spite of facing next to no competition and has hardly won anything of note yet. There are many players who I would buy ahead of Pastore be it for the forward line or for the midfield.

I would be a bit disappointed if we just sold Bojan without atleast a buyback, ideally I want him loaned :/

Re: Transfer Rumors
English press rumours that Barcelona would be willing to sell Villa, with Chelsea and City presumably interested, are groundless. [sport]
That must be pure bullshit. If Barca happen to sell Villa, I will be pissed off.

Re: Transfer Rumors
Roma's Walter Sabatini: We are close to signing Bojan and hope to finalise a deal in the coming days
The Spain Under-21 international is on the verge of following Luis Enrique to the Stadio Olimpico, but he is not the only player in the Roman outfit's sights
Roma director Walter Sabatini has confirmed that the club hope to complete the transfer of Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic in the next few days.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Italian capital since Luis Enrique, Bojan's former coach at Barcelona B, took over the reigns at Roma a fortnight ago.
Roma will be looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season with new owner Thomas DiBenedetto making funds available as the club look to improve on last season's sixth place finish.
Reports emerging from Spain have stated that the Spain under-21 international has already agreed to join Roma yet the side's sporting director, Sabatini, has confirmed this is not yet the case.
"In Spain they say Bojan is a Roma player. It's very close and very realistic but the deal has not yet been finalised although we hope to do so on the coming days," Sabatini told Sports Network.
The sporting director also confirmed that the club are looking at a number of possible transfer targets, including Velez Sarsfield winger Ricky Alvarez.
"[Alvarez] is a versatile player and has the ability to do things differently on the pitch. Alvarez is a strong player like many others we are monitoring," he added.
Sabatini concluded the interview by stating he hopes to keep Mirko Vucinic at the club, despite the Montenegro international interesting several clubs including Juventus.
"Mirko is a great player, he can make an impact on any game. He knows he is a Roma player and I consider him as one of the club's best assets," he added.
Bojan looks set to join the Serie A club on a season-long loan deal while Alvarez could cost Roma up to €12 million.

Roma are willing to pay 10M for Bojan. Barcelona want a buy-back option for a fee 20% higher than the transfer fee, in this case 12M [sport]
if its like this?
not bad... we can buy him back in the future for 12M !
Bojan + luis Enrique = Confidence ! & this is what Bojan needs playing time + conidence!

Re: Transfer Rumors
There's a report in Sport saying that Sanchez will go to Barcelona on Monday for 39 million euros, however no quotes are used. It does make the strange suggestion that Sanchez is being given time off from training for the Copa America to go and sign a contract, however I'd expect something like that to be reported more widely.
Here's the report if you want to read it: http://www.football-italia.net/jun19b.html
