From Ze Eduardo's wikipedia, I cracked up laughing so hard when I saw FORZA MILAN plastered on the bottom.

I can just imagine some poor soul angrily screaming it whilst crying and typing up the article.

He's been out on 10 loan deals. Well it's comforting to know that everyone wants a small piece of the guy. I hadn't made the connection between Ze Eduardo and the 2011 Copa Libertadores Finals when I first watched him for Genoa, I'm still unsure how he ever ended up in a starting line-up next to Neymar. The man has absolutely no goal sense whatsover.

Ambrosini and Traore are our only defensive midfielders at the moment in the squad, we realistically need a DM however I'd rather see someone creative to either play alongside Montolivo or be his reserve in the middle arrive.

Constant isn't a defensive midfielder by any means, Muntari and Strasser are long term injury concerns and Flamini isn't actually a footballer.

allegri is a coach after all , whether galliani listens or not... he should be notifying that we lost guys like seedorf pirlo ... those are players who create, they make the game work, they formulate it, they create the game.

allegri either dont want pirlo seedorf type players or he doesnt have balls to say it... !!

this is the worst milan side i have ever witnessed. disgrace to the club!!

it doesnt matter if he is defensive midfielder or not... constant cant create, he is no playmaker or a technical midfielder...

and we need players who have brains... not workrate not power...

been saying this, but we have no one bar montolivo who creates, who orchestrates the game.

and he is the only source of assist, now cassano is gone.

and real madrid was big example of how pathetic our midfield department has been...

whether allegri prefers to play one DM at the centre with b2b alongside him... thing is .... midfield is too defensive...

i want us to see actually play football, not see players playing cat and mouse in the midfield...

and since that aint happening , means our season is already ruined...

I agree that our main priority should be in finding a creative midfielder, realistically two are required though this is a long rebuilding project and we don't have the funds to demand more at the moment, however we still need quality deeper in midfield and we shouldn't knock back a good deal, particularly given that very few of the names in our midfield deserve a future in the starting eleven.

I personally don't believe that 10 million for De Jong is a good deal, however if a deal for a very solid defensive midfielder were being discussed then I'd certainly be in favour of it. De Jong is probably worth 7-8 million to a different squad, but he's not for us.

I'd like to see us play more expansive football naturally, however we don't have a defence that we can afford to expose to a strong counter-attacking team. If a technical midfielder arrives I've no doubt that Allegri will use him, however our scouts are entirely oblivious to the Bundesliga and La Liga, unless a player happens to have already played in Italy. It's little wonder that we're struggling to find suitable options in the market with such a narrow minded approach.

Ideally Urby will be able to grow in a slightly deeper role, however we'll have a better idea of how our midfield will look at the end of the transfer window. For all we know, a move may facilitate a shift in formation, or we may be left empty handed.
