Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Nice looking lineup, hopefully we can knock a few past them to gain some confidence before the weekend.

What you're hoping for or what some source claims?
Anyway, I agree of the line-up.

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
This is my hope.
Unfortunately, since Spearing is on verge of being sold/loaned, I may lose my source temporarily .
I am trying to find a new source....contacting Shelvey's girlfriend on twitter in hope now. Fingers crossed

Oussama most likely won't be able to play this round of Europa. . as his ex-club are still in the competition . . although not entirely sure

Jimmy Rice @JimmyRiceWriter
No debut for Assaidi v Hearts - he's cup tied having featured for Heerenveen in the qual rounds. If #LFC reach group stages he's available.

Feature some reserves + Agger.
Manc City is a massive game for Rodgers.

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Would love to see the lineup Sepi posted with slight changes, Suso to start over Allen and Carroll instead of Assaidi (since he isn't eligible).

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Skipper Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson will also stay behind when the squad travel north of the border today
Assiadi cup tied. . . No Enrique. . so Sepi's line-up apart from Assiadi would be very close to the actual one Only Carroll might be the exception & make his first start of the season.

Morgan and N'goo have been called up.
Not sure if Suso has to be honest.
Carroll, Sterling and Borini front 3?

Most likely but Carroll is doubtful with slight injury decision would be made after accessing his fitness today . . . If not fit Morgan would start
WE NEED STRIKERS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! ! Even BR agreed to that!

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
We really are badly in need of Strikers. Maybe Morgan can have a a Michael Owen type debut season for us.

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Carragher starting? I only hope that means Coates for the City game, ridiculous if Carragher gets a start in both matches.

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Pretty lacklustre stuff in first half. A lot of (pointless) passing in defence without being able to dominate the midfield. Sterling's been our best player, that steal in the end to set up Borini's chance was sublime.

As much I read the BBC review, it appears Borini has cought the Suarez-Syndrom (missing the net).

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Sterling looked good, Borini had good movement, Downing looked decent while he was on. Other than that, nothing too impressive to note. Allen looked good after coming on, Kelly was good going forward and staying back. Shelvey/Adam/Spearing were pretty awful in midfield.

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
Sterling again impressed. For much of the game he really was our attacking outlet and looked the most likely to create a chance. He also worked hard tracking back and pressuring the Hearts players when they had the ball. It's hard to believe he's only 17. His success is really showing Pacheco's failures and struggles.
Borini had good movement along the opponents backline and was very unlucky to be called offside on at least two occasions where it could have gone his way. The lad also showed a very good work rate throughout. His finishing is a bit off though, and he's already hitting the goal frame. Good to see he's settled and picked up the key components of a Liverpool player already.
Shelvey was a bit disappointing to be honest. Perhaps the atmosphere got to him or maybe it was just an off day. Either way, his passing was well off it's best today and he was rightly chastised late on by Reina, after a sloppy pass nearly gave Hearts an equaliser. He never hid though and that's a credit to him, at least.
Henderson played a couple of really lovely passes (the ball over the top that Borini wiffed comes to mind) and worked hard pressing all across midfield, even though he was meant (I assume) to start at right forward/wing. Only solidifies my opinion that he really is a central/central attacking midfielder and wasted when played on the right.
Outside of those three I think everyone played about as expected. Adam got forward well on a few occasions but looked below par when not on the ball, Spearing was Spearing, Carragher seemed scared to move more than 35 yards from Reina at any time, Reina did what was required when he was called upon, and both young fullbacks were solid if unspectacular. Downing actually looked solid at leftback when he came on, so kudos to him for that. It's not something I'd want to see regularly, though. Congrats to Morgan for getting his competitive LFC debut, as well.

Re: Hearts vs Liverpool
I missed the match due to first day of school. Game started at the worst possible class for me, professor doesn't even let laptops/electronic devices in the room. C*nt
If anyone knows where I can watch the full match, it'll be greatly appreciated.
