ft united 4-2 Stoke
pros- RVP's performance. Rooney's performance. Our strikers all scoring. Good 2nd half performance from our attackers.
cons- Our defence...shaky af. Scholes' tackles and needless fk (one which resulted in stoke's opener). Conceding first at OT...yet again!!

Re: Manchester United 2012/2013 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Good win. Still 6 points ahead.....but, why oh why can't we seem to keep a clean sheet ffs. Feel sorry for DDG because he has been immense, but our lethargic defending from set pieces and crosses when we're ahead or early in the match has made it seem impossible for him to get a clean sheet.
I can't get round to how we allowed that sh*t Sunderland team to score.
RVP, Rooney, Young, Jones, Smallingbauer and especially Cleverley were superb. We seemed to take our foot of the gas in the 2nd half after we blitzed them in the first half (should have been 5 goals up). Carrick and Cleverley were superb and Rooney's link up play was great to watch. 2nd half once both Cleverely and Carrick came off and were replaced with Scholes and Giggs, we seemed far more vulnerable and Sunderland began to look more confident with every attack.
Just proves how a Scholes and Giggs combo in the middle is a disaster. But anyways....we won.
Oh and Valencia needs to sort himself out. He has been utter shet recently. WTF has happened to him. Can't beat a player anymore, can't cross anymore, makes dumb decisions and hogs on the ball for far too long. Looks like a player with no confidence whatsoever.

Young has been looking good, but how long is this form going to last? The real test is how quick will he bounce back after he has a bad game, because he can obviously have an impact when he's in the right frame of mind.

Sadly, you have said exactly my thoughts.
I am absolutely let down by Valencia. His current form is the worst since joining us.

If I put in a performance at my work place that Rooney and Valencia did today v Swansea, I would be sacked!
I am so pissed off at Rooney...he was a disgrace to the shirt today.

Rooney was at least creating chances, Hernandez did f**k all when he came on, same with Scholes, just passed sideways, took Cleverly off who was positive all game, Carrick was brilliant I thought his best game of the season. Just weren't clinical enough today.
Ashley Williams c**t btw

Rooney wasn't creating nothing of any note. Misplaced every pass. We had a brilliant opportunity to be 2-1 ahead when all rooney had to was square the ball to Chicha with a simple pass, but he hits it heavily n the chance goes missing.
By far his worst performance in a Utd shirt. I just scratch my head, how can a player who was MOTM v City 2 weeks ago become so horribly sh*it today?
Must be tucking into christmas dinner too much. He just looked lazy through out the whole game. Just awful.

By far Rooney's worst performance, I don't know how he wasn't substituted off earlier in the match. Giggs certainly made an impact when he came on.

Giggs was brilliant when he came on. I was thinking to myself, where the heck did that performance come from. Did more in that little cameo than any of our wingers did in the entire game.

this team is almost unwatchable without Rooney and with Hernandez, Scholes, and Giggs in the team, can't keep possession, miss passes everywhere.

Vidic needs to get back into fitness....and tbh when scholes was out there it left us exposed at the back...it's sad but he hinders the team now. cleverley came on and game turned with the energy he brings and the movement.
