Why does this site maintain the name Goal"LEGACY", and why is they a newsfeed from Goal.com on the side bar. Some of their editorials may not be of good taste but sorry if you want a one stop site for anything football there's no better place than Goal.com.

I pretty certain they have more hits than any other fooball website outthere, they must be doing something right to be this popular.

Can you name me better footballing sites out there, I can seem to think of any, I visit BBC, Guardian, Marca, Daily Mail and AS, but none seem to have news as comprehensive as that of Goal, they have all the good, the bad and the ugly news, they may be sensational, but they have it all.

exactly, they have it all, because they're hit whores... no matter what sensationalist bullshit marca/daily mail post, goal.com run it as a top story and get hits from all the "chelse r d best n gon win da trofy" people

best websites are ran by fans, then sports sections of broadsheets and official agencies (guardian, bbc etc)

Goal.com is basically a news hub, that's why they are so popular because they take news from everywhere no matter how crap.

Popularity =/= Quality

Well I'd rather have all the news and decide what is legit and what is not. I guess that is why they have a sidebar on this forum. BBC and Guardian, don't report the news till it's well cooked, and Daily Mail, Marca and AS are just as sensational as Goal.com is.

And let's be honest we all used to use Goal.com for football news (atleast I did). I saw Mole mention Twitter as a better news source, which makes me go wtf becouse how many times haven't we been decieved by their 99% sure stories. Twitter is just about as legit and fake as Goal.com news

+ CR had a better individual season than Messi, deal with it Messi fanboys. Scored against every La Liga team (never been done before), silenced Camp Nou and was consistent both away and home.

Only they mostly ignore the Bundesliga, and only give the news in the most superficial fashion. Moreover, if they get their hands on one interview, they often publish it in 4-5 different articles to enlarge their number of articles and thus get more page impressions. I prefer to have indepth articles in one piece.
