Why the f would anyone buy anyone for shirt sales lmfao
He was bought because of his skills as a player, everything else was a bonus side deal.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
Santos president:
"Bring the offers, but we won't accept anything less than his buy-out fee," he told Globo Esporte.
"The player's will always has to come first. It's pointless to keep an unhappy player. I always respect the player's will. I did that regarding Wesley, Andre, Jonathan, but Santos' rights have to be respected, as per the contracts that were signed."
Ganso, currently with Brazil's Olympic squad, had been criticised by sections of his own support, but Ribeiro feels he just needs to get stronger.
"A large part of the fanbase isn't happy with his performances. I've talked with Muricy Ramalho [team's manager] about this," he said.
"He believes there is a physical problem. Ganso had a surgery and isn't playing on a regular basis, so has to do muscle strengthening. Sooner or later he'll be playing football again. I don't know if it will be in a month or two."
Continue
And if no offers are forthcoming, Ribeiro insists that the young midfielder will continue playing for them.
"The concrete fact is that he has a contract and a buy-out fee," he continued.
"If he doesn't cancel his contract, he has to play. And if he doesn't play well, he'll be benched.
"And if he's benched, he'll never leave, he'll have to stay until 2015 [when his contract expires]."

Spanish international Santi Cazorla is due to fly into London this week for a medical with Arsenal, Sky Sports understands.
Sky Sports understands that Cazorla should be in England within the next 48 hours to conclude a deal, which would be a major coup for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
------------------
Julio Cesar:
Whilst the player and his agent Josias Cardoso insist nothing has been decided, the latter has confirmed talks have been held with other clubs.
And he has stated that Tottenham are one of those showing an interest.
"Now he remains at Inter Milan, he doesn't want to go to Brazil and the market is just closed there," Cardoso told Tuttosport.
"Some clubs indeed contacted us, but we asked them to contact Inter Milan, the club that own his rights. There is nothing certain yet.
"There are talks with Tottenham, but the English club has not yet made official steps. "
A fake Facebook account linked with Julio Cesar suggested that he had agreed to leave Inter, but the player was quick to deny this.
He said: "All I can say is that I have not issued any statement regarding my future. I also deny the statement posted on a Facebook account isn't actually mine.
"If I have to communicate something to the fans, I will do it in person as I have always done."
------------------------
Neymar has emerged as a transfer target for Spanish giants Barcelona after catching the eye at London 2012.
The 20-year-old fired Brazil into the quarter-finals of the Olympic competition by scoring one goal and setting up two more in their 3-1 win over Belarus despite going behind.
The Santos star stole the show with a stunning 25-yard free-kick either side of providing the ammunition for Alexandre Pato and Chelsea new-boy Oscar to seal the win.
And Barcelona vice-president Jose Maria Bartomeu says the club will step up their efforts to lure the exciting forward to Europe.
"Neymar? We would like to see him joining after the Olympics," he said. "If he decides to come to Europe then we will try to make it Barca."

Inter are considering a move for free agent Royston Drenthe, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
--------------------
A FIFA licensed agent has been speaking to Sport Italia TV and claimed that Robin van Persie has already signed a contract with Juventus. In the quotes translated by Football Italia, Fabio Parisi claims “Juventus have had a signed contract with Robin Van Persie for some time locked in a desk.”
He goes on to say “I think Juventus have had a signed contract with Van Persie for some time locked away in a notary’s desk.
“It is just my opinion, but I think there’s an eight out of 10 chance the Dutchman will join the Bianconeri.
“Juventus want to win and he is considered the ideal addition to achieve that. I don’t think Edin Dzeko is the right player for the Bianconeri.”

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
So will RVP stay at Arsenal now or is he a lying c**t?
Giroud, Godolski, Cazorla and possibly Sahin all in one summer.
They'll win the League if he stays.

They were lucky to stay up last year and the scenario was the same.
Jovetic is off, they wouldn't be buying all these players if he wasn't.
They are as good as gone, only Jo-Jo can save them and he's gone.

And you are their DS ?All these signings would possibly convince Jo-Jo to stay..and even if he leaves, that team will comfortably avoid the drop plus Montella is a decent young manager..

Arsenal will try to sell him regardless his intentions: Cazorla, van Persie, Giroud, Podolski and Sahin ain't happening. I'm just hoping that that club is Juventus or another club outside the English Premier League.

Yeah he's going to play alongside scrubs when he could play for a CL club
no matter who they sign, it's not going to match his ambitions and they dont have the finance to sign all these players and keep Jovetic.
If a decent offer comes in which it will they will cash in.
Also you don't buy Borja and avoid the drop its not possible.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
Who are you to tell me what to do ?
Also as i said they survived by the skin of thier teeth last season thanks to Jovetic despite on paper having a better team than quite a lot of people it means nothing.
Another example we got relegated despite on paper having a team that should have been competing for the top 6. Paper means nothing.
If Jovetic goes which i believe he will they will struggle to survive.
Also i only see one lol emoticon in that whole post

And you work for Fiorentina ?yeah ?
El-Hamadoui- €750,000
Borja Valero €7m
Matias Fernandez €4m
Viviano-LOAN
Cuadrado-LOAN
Out:
Gamberini and Behrami €10m
Net=~ €2m
Clearly they needed a lot of 'finances' to sign them..
Dont hate just for the sake of it Mole..I mean just because some people(Like Adit) classlesly keep trolling doesnt mean you have to stoop down to their level too.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
It's not just about transfer fee's.
It's about the positions of players that have been bought they are very top heavy if Jovetic stays it's quite obvious they are building a team without Jovetic in mind.
If he stays then obviously then great, but there's too much interest from teams with big pockets with big ambitions to be ignored imo.
I highly doubt he will be there come September 3rd.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
And even if Jo-Jo leaves ,they're too good a team in comparison to some other teams in Serie A to get relegated..Montella achieved reasonable success with a much weaker side in Catania, who is to say he wont with a better team in Fiorentina.
Like i said there are a no.of teams worse than them..Pretty illogical to say they'll relegated especially since they've strengthened their team pretty well.they dont have European distraction either as well.
