Who said Adebayor is gone. We let his loan agreement lap and now we are waiting to see if City will lower his transfer fee (as well as waiting on other deals to happen first).

And For Morata (my choice for 3rd striker), I think the deal with him is he gets to try out for spot at training camp. If he doesn't succeed then they will loan him (or sell with buyback option).

morata is gonna be with the u18 this summer, no tour for him.

With Chelsea signing Villas Boas, I could see them getting rid of Drogba and I believe Mourinho might get him, he could do for Madrid what Carvalho did last season. Adebayor out, Drogba in, no need for Aguero or Neymar at least for one more season.

Club is pissed at him for making a public request for salary increase, but no way this leads to him being sold. However if Neymar does come this year, it could very well put Di maria on bench.

Take a look at what they are doing.

1) Coentrao - we have a weakness in defense, growing age of Carvalho. They feel Ramos is the solution. Given no good CBs available, they are taking the best FB available. He has played a fair amount on right side (as MF or wing).

2) Sahin - we needed to improve our midfield specifiaclly our passing / play making capabilities.

3) Altintop / Callejon - we want to improve our bench strength.

4) Aquero - he's a better option than both Benz and Higgy - this is the only change that you can argue that may not be necessary. It's is debatable who of the three is better. My opinion is Benz hasn't consistently shown good form and has not earned his wages nor transfer price.

4) Neymar and Varane - these are both furtues deals. Neither one of them is likely to play with club this year. Logic is lock up talent as soon as you can (beats rivals and likely is a bargain price).

5) the only other possible change is a 3rd striker, likely either Morata or Adebayor.

and re guys on bench, I say we will see a lot more rotations this year. Mou will have an entire teams that he should not be fearful of using. This should stop his excuses of team being too tired.

That answered my question. Had a feeling they were bs when it came to Madrid, but i had no idea since i never read them or heard of them honestly. I'll wait and see if one of the papers i actually know are decent decide to cover the story.

if he can accept the bench role, he will stay. but i dont think madrid will let him go. just the issue of he want to play more or accepting the probability
