Paul Pogba vs Serbia U-19
Can't wait to see him in Juventus shirt! Marrotta made a good investment!

Re: Paul Pogba vs Serbia U-19
He has a huge presence in the central midfield. I'm not going to get too excited because it's an u-19 game against Serbia, but I think that his years spent at Man United have put him way ahead of most 19 year old prospects at his position. Maybe, we don't need Verratti after all.

Well if Conte will change the regista position and base the team around another position, maybe but Pogba is not a regista. He is more b2b, watchd him in a lot of United reserve games. TBF I dont think Veratti is even Pirlo like at all but he can 'see the field' better than Pogba. Vision is mostly innate, players like Iniesta, Xavi, Scholes and Pilro can see things that others cant see. Pogba just doesnt have that in his weaponry. Good player in the long term.

Pogba is still very young and I think that he is finding his position and role as a football player. He has great technique, that much I can tell from seeing him play. I think that he definitely will be seeing action at Juve.

Of what i've seen he seems like a good long passer..But i'm not sure he'd make an ideal possession keeper though.

His range is not as good as Verrattis and he doesnt think as quick as well. More of a bruiser and mispaces too many passes as well. More Viera than Pilro. I really hope Juventus get Vera. Pilro can tutor him directlly. No amount of money can give you that tbh

Pogba
I have no doubt that this kid can be our vice Pirlo and take over from him in the future! He is a different player but I think he can be just as effective! He sits deep, hardly ever loses the ball, wins the ball back, seems to have that leadership and damn he is only 19!

Re: Paul Pogba vs Serbia U-19
Pogba is NOTHING like Pirlo.
He is physical.
He is fast.
He scrummages.
He looks like he can fight dirty.
His game is based most often on POWER rather than guile.
He is THE presence in the centre of the park rather than the protected player that pirlo is.
He also looks like he can have a laziness about him at times during the games.
If anything, hes CLOSER to the Viera/Keane/Gerrard/Lampard mould to me.
On top of that, hes got the sway, the swagger, youth and the confidence and similar physique that reminds me of Balotelli!

Re: Paul Pogba vs Serbia U-19
Why dont you pull your head out of your backside and realise the post wasnt directed at you moron. It was my general opinion.
And who thinks hes like Pirlo? Well as long as people claim hes 'Pirlo's heir' or 'vice pirlo', that to me says hes a similar player to pirlo. You cannot be an heir or a vice to a position if you havent got similar characteristics. thats pretty simple really.
He doesnt sit deep at all... hes a pure box to box. thats completely inaccurate.

https://goallegacy.forumotion.com/t22425-why-did-we-get-paul-pogba
Hes a good depth signing as far as im concerned. Now we have Marchisio, Vidal, and Pirlo az our definite starters, with Padoin, Marrone, Appelt, Pogba, and Asamoah as depth. Pazienza is leaving, and Giaccherini and Isla are emergency CM options. Plus theres still the situations of Giandonato, Verratti, and Melo. Giandinato in particular has zhown alot of promise when given the chance, so i would love to bring him back and give him a good amount of playing time for him to develop. Hes another of those creative CMs, so he could even be Pirlos replacement!
