I think it's solid, but not great...RedOranje wrote:The more I see that Arsenal away kit, the more I like it. Going with the deep purple and black was bold, as the two colours neither compliment nor contrast significantly, but for whatever reason the hoops work (something I don't generally say). The red on the cuffs just brings it all together for me and makes it work.
Then again, I LOVE our third kit. So, I'm obviously wierd.

No way. They lost the plot when they made the dominant color the bright orange. It's just too abrasive. Should only be used as an accent color. Case-in-point: Barcelona's Tequila Sunrise kits...
It jsut goes from bright to brighter...

I did qualify the statement by saying "bright" orange. Perhaps I should have clarified further bey saying "fluorescent" orange. I have no problems with the Oranje's orange.RedOranje wrote:donttreadonred wrote:

The Dutch kits are generally pretty bright, though and that one in particular was edging toward neon.
By the way, the coat doesn't actually look too bad when worn.

Oh, that's not bad at all. Darned cameramen overexposing bright colors... It's like they don't know what they're doing.RedOranje wrote:The Dutch kits are generally pretty bright, though and that one in particular was edging toward neon.

Thats how they arranged the stars in the end? Thats quite disappointing, there were some very nice alternative designs.

The official kit will have no stars on it
Just the words '30 sul campo' (30 on the field)
but when you order your own jersey you can choose to have it with 3 stars

I see, a compromise, well, I feel Juve should have probably gone and stuck the three stars on properly. Sul Campo is an aknowledgement that officially they have only 28.

Re: 2012/13 Kit Thread Pt. II
I thought the 3 stars should have been official. After all of the quotes from Andrea Agnelli and co.
However, they don't want to upset people too much.
The home kit is growing on me despite me hating the rectangular box logo design.

It's a good compromise
Keeps all other clubs in Italy happy, the FIGC happy and the fans of Juventus happy
3 stars, 10 stars, it's really a non-issue for me
30 sul campo sounds badass anyways

Not bad. I may despise their club, but those are pretty nice kits, especially that away kit.

Napoli don't have a shirt sponsor?
It looks very simplistic and well designed.

Is the team any good? I'd totally rock the black and purple. Probably one of my top 5 kits right now.

Just got promoted to the La Liga. Hardly a good side, shouldn't stop you from buying nice kits though.
