Question To Pep Guardiola
With immense admiration, the highest respect and complete humility, I ask of you this one question.
After seeing what Iniesta has done at Euro 2012, do you regret having used him as a cog in the wheel all through the 2011-12 season?
That's all for now. Enjoy your break from football thoroughly. You have surely earned it. Always wishing you all the very best.

Re: Question To Pep Guardiola
but hasn't Iniesta been on the left flank? Apart from Pirlo, he definately has been man of the tournament...

Re: Question To Pep Guardiola
paxton, that is true but we need to note two very important differences.
1. While in Euro he played on the left wing right through, for Barcelona during the season his position was constantly changed - in fact usually from game to game.
2. Even though in Euro he played on the left wing by position he was consistently given the role of the team's MVP and the key link between midfield and attack. For Barcelona during the season he was used as a cog in the wheel often having no very important or very well defined role.

Re: Question To Pep Guardiola
The difference between Spain Iniesta and Barcelona Iniesta is astonishing sometimes. Yes it is NT football, but still...Tito must fix Guardiola's biggest mistake in-as JD correctly pointed out- not having a clearly defined, important spot nailed down in the team.
I do think part of the difference does have to do with the difference between NT football and club football though.
BTW JD, your lithium style banner in your sig

Thanks CB.
You mean that image? Yes it's high time I change it. Suggest some ways of creating an image that can combine more than one thought.
