Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
La Rocca 4 match ban means he is out for the remaning on the season...
Jerome Polenz (quad), who sat out the match with the Sky Blues, is also expected to be fit for Western Sydney's home semi-final in the second week of the finals series.
Captain Michael Beauchamp (quad) and midfielder Aaron Mooy (knee), who were also unavailable for the Sydney derby, are expected to be fit for the match with the Jets.
Defender Adam D'apuzzo (foot) is the other injury worry for the A-League ladder leader. He is also likely to go for scans on Monday.

Congratulations! I've never been so happy to see another team win. A great story for Australian football, Australian sport and sport in general, worldwide. Very rarely does a team win a championship in their debut season. To me, this is the better trophy. If WSW lose the finals, that should take nothing away from the fact that they were the best and most consistent team over the entire season. And I salute you for that.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
A week's break should be enough for the likes of Ono and Mooy to come back as well as D'Appozo and Polenz. Was really impressed by the 18 year Perkatis. Hopefully see more of him playing in Mooy's position more often as he has alot of potential.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
That was *bleep* amazing! WE totally controlled that *bleep* game. Brisbane were no were near that game! I was at Maccas before the game and people were just grabbing whatever food they could get hands on... Police, choppers, security everywhere. 5000 of them all together, controlling the crowd!
The crowd was *bleep* amazing! Dead silence when it was needed (a board member died...), friking scary... The whole crowd sung every single song. Anything *bleep* Brisbane started getting excited and singing their songs, every Wanderers would just glare at them and sing 'We are number one, we are number one' or 'Your out' which was so great!
The *bleep* goals were amazing! Dino goal was unbelievable. I was GTFO Dinho after missing a chance and being a complete useless player he is and then he scored that classy goal
Ono Nuff said Class, swag The lot
Hersi He had a decent game and then got himself suspended when we really need him next week
Before I post this if people ever watch the replay of this game, watch the 80th minute and watch the whole crowd go backwards
Doesn't happen in football! Wanderers

Wonderful performance... Really impressive, but with that crowd behind them they were always going to win. Were on top from the start.

Honestly can't believe this section is so dead when we have a few Aussies here.
Do you guys only watch football for the entertainment?

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
I follow both A-League and European football. A-League is usually lower quality, but I still find it entertaining to watch some teams, especially Adelaide. There are some other teams that are pretty ugly to watch and have had an awful style for years.

Re: Western Sydney Wanderers
90 minutes away from Domestic football History.
If we somehow end up vs RM in the CWC Final i honestly think Bar that Some WC Heroics from 06, this has to be the best/biggest thing to happen in Australian football.
Our Defense will need to be immaculate in SA, hopefully with Spira back we become solid again, 1 away goal and it should be ours.
