Germany can kill a lion on the counter, the orange of the neds is not yet ripe and the 10 things we have learnt from Euros 2012 so far
1. CR7 must forget the fact he is a superstar while on the pitch: He gets too much pressure from thinking he has alot to show and that dampens his performance in both club and country at times. He needs to be at his best if portugal must go far.
2. Spain & Germany remains the two best teams in europe: germany might not be number 2 in the world, but they remain just behind spain in europe after still showing some flashes of dominance and the only team to have won both matches in group stage so far.
3. Mario gomez is the best CF in the world: arguably the best cf,though one might disagree because of strong competition from falcao, ibrahimovic and cavani. A superior targetman atm, though he underperforms at times.
4. Torres is getting back to his best: paying del bosque's faith the best way he can, after a series of poor performances in the past.
5. Germany can kill a lion while on the counter: after what they did to portugal and the neds, one would say germany is the team to watch out for while counter attacking.
6. Italy's defense can never be as good as that of maldini and nesta era: they have conceeded goals against spain and failed to kill off the match against croatia. Cesar prandelli had to bring de rossi to play in defence.
7. England needs rooney ASAP: ashley young might have replace him,bt certainly not as effective and that showed while they played france.
8. Bendtner scores for the money: after the latest betting allegation of revealing the logo of a betting company while celebrating the 2nd goal against portugal, one would say bendtner might have been inspired by betting for some cash to score the double against portugal. Though how true the allegations, are yet to be known.
9. Spain still the team to beat: after been the defending champions and the only team to soce four unreplied goals, plus the spirit of madrid and barca lives on,one would say spain is the team to beat.
10. The orange of the Neds is not yet ripe: sneijer thought the final would be the neds vs spain but they have to worry more about group progress as anything less than goals filled victory against portugal, ends their campaign.

Everytime Torres scores a couple of goals, he is apparently back to his best.

Most points are fair enough, but this one, just no.
Logmez is not the best CF in the world. RVP, Rooney, Agüero, Benzema, Higuain, Villa, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic, Falcao > Gomez

Why don't the "better" CFs score as much, then?

Because the best cf has a player next to him that scores 50 a season

Yea right. That is why he has the least Minutes to Goals Ratio.

give the guy some credit, please:
gomez 24 CL-goals total/needs 101 minutes for one goal
messi 51 total/ 107min/goal
ruud 56 total/ 109min/goal
raul 71 total/ 169min/goal
scheva 48 total/ 173min/goal
eto'o 27 total/ 206min/goal
zlatan 28 total/ 248min/goal
i'm not saying he's better than these players but he sure as hell scores a lot of goals. Almost 1 per game for his whole cl career so far, wichj is a hell of a accomplishment.
