I can see why people like him. High energy, tough tackling players are usually fan favourites at their respective clubs.

He's still not very good though. I haven't watched as much of him as I did 2/3 years ago since Chelsea's interest in Christian Eriksen has died down but I seriously doubt he's suddenly improved to a Davids MK2 (come on, I mean seriously? ) after his underwhelming performances in the CL a few months back.

Really isn't anything special there are hundreds of athletes like him masquerading as footballers all around Europe. Would probably be a decent squad player but if you're expecting more than that from him then you'll definitely be disappointed.

P.S. Big, for his size anyway - means exactly what it says.

Tbh Gil i'm not, give me another Tiote and i'm happy.... we need 2 holding players if we are going to play Cabaye further forward, 2 attacking fullbacks and 3 forwards like it seems like we are....

If he's as good as Ajax fans claim ( from other forums) then great but if he isnt then i'm not fussed because all i want is a good holding player to allow us to play in the way i mentioned.

Why would he go to United when he already plays in a better club, if anything I would rather see him go to City where he can obviously become a better player.

perhaps you will stand a chance against City in epl, but obviously in CPL you stand no chance against Basel and we all know what happened to Basel the last time they played us.

You know absolutely nothing about football. As an Ajax fan he will be the last player I will sell but I dont like him as such.

Secondly he played Full-Back in CHL which is not his true position. Lets put Hazard in a holding role while we'r are it. If you want to talk about a young guy flopping at CHL,Hazard & Hulk come to my mind.

3rdly,Ajax were good in CHL & would have gone through easily with some luck(not being denied 2 clear goals against Madrid at home & the rigged Lyon 7-1 or 8-1 game). And Anita was decent in a not so true position.
