Jerome Boateng is the best Right-Back in the world
Now the Star of the South has the best fullbacks in history. Phillip Lahm and Jerome Boateng are the best fullbacks in football today. Boateng completely outclasses all other Right Backs in football. He is also very versatile. Last year he played LB for the German NT, he also plays CB! What a great man this is. The way this guy sets up crosses is just magnificient. Not to mention his tackles are flooring wingers and other attackers worldwide. From Argentines, Spaniards, Italians to English; he floors them all.

Re: #17 - Jérôme Boateng
Boateng is a very versatile and good player, but I prefer him as a CB while Rafinha play as side back.
Re: #17 - Jérôme Boateng
Come on, man. Boateng's much better as a CB, anyways.

Re: #17 - Jérôme Boateng
They are both good young players and have different importance for the club..
Re: #17 - Jérôme Boateng
It's a weird comparison, since Boateng is a natural CB who sometimes plays FB, and Gustavo is a natural DM who sometimes plays CB, and used to sometimes play FB at Hoffenheim.
That being said, if you look at their overall capabilities, Gustavo might be more complete, while Boateng is better at what he's supposed to do.
Boateng is taller, faster and tougher, though, so he's probably here to stay, while I still think of Gustavo as the guy the brought in during winter, and didn't manage to replace with Vidal purely by accident.
Still quality, though. Would walk into most Bundesliga teams, but I'm not entirely convinced he's the stuff UCL trophies are made out of.

#17 - Jérôme Boateng
Most talented, both-footed, fastest and best tackler in Bayern Munchen CB position.
Thank you so much for improving our defense this season

Happy birthday!Phritz wrote:Need a gif of that tackle on Ronaldo
If you can provide me with an .avi or .mpg or some other useful video format, I could create one, but unfortunately I haven't found the tackle at any platform from which I could download it to my machine.

Re: #17 - Jérôme Boateng
The quality (even at HD) is too bad to create a proper aniGIF from it, sorry. Moreover, the tackle Phritz was referring to wasn't properly in the video.

Jerome Boateng have arrived
http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/2012/11/05/3504017/jerome-boateng-i-have-finally-arrived.
One Important aspect of this article is how he said his body "regenerates" very well he makes himself sound like an awesome cyborg warrior
In a few years time this guy will be the absolute beast of CB, he has everything needed for that, Pace, strength, height, determined, composure but he still needs to work-hard on his positioning and level of concentration, but he has been working on that perfectly this days.
Good to see his moral is up! I just hope he works more on his aerial abilities, he needs some power in the air and on the headers, and he will be very close to being the perfect CB we have been seeking since like ever.
It only helps that he's now partnerly a much better CB in Dante and doesn't not have to cover so much for lack Badstuber pace and with Alaba as left pack, that issue will be eradicated.
The only ever presence in Bayern this season, even ahead of Neuer, played every single minute, I am just happy that finally that Badstuber is being dropped and JH has finally acknowledge what I have been saying for ages.
with Lahm-Boateng-Dante-Alaba, Bayern have chances of winning the treble

Re: #17 - Jérôme Boateng
What a joke. Piss poor CB sometimes, decent somtimes.
Bench Quality guy. Him & Badstuber would make Quality CB's for Mid-Level BL Opposition & good bench players for CL.
Bayern needs a World Class CB not a guy like Boateng who was RB Back-up at City
