You can make good purchases without pure cash deals for ridiculous amounts.

E.g: Barzagli, Vidal, Pirlo etc... that was top quality work

Marotta needs to be smart - 3 more 'smart' signings like these, recall some talented players (e.g Immobile), promote some talented youth and then even if we splash most of the budget on one star signing, we should still be sitting next season.

Yes, Contento is very young and hot prospect, but we need a star left back at least from my point of view, the real machine on the left side ; likes of Kolarov and Aly Cissokho in this moment.
