Khaled, I think I will move this thread to the 'La Masia' thread. That is what that thread is for. No need for extra ones on the same topics.

Is that cool with you?

This Thread Just for Juvenil A Results including "CL U-19.." actually i made this thread a while ago, the previous one was (Champions League U-19), i just changed the title..

While, the La Masia thread is for other youth teams, news, videos, etc....

But Kizz, it's more organized in this way.. keep La Masia thread just for the news.. while these threads just for the results..

The other thread is supposed to be for all of the youth teams, I don't think its necessary that we have this many threads. Personally I find it easier to look at La Masia thread alone for all youth news.

I don't think anyone else really looks at this thread/ contributes to it. Better if its altogether and easy to access.

Personally I'd prefer them together, otherwise we hardly use the other thread... the 'news ' is basically youth results.

This is the way we used to do it, I think its easiest. Sorry.

Hercules 2-1 Barca B

Another decent result... Played the 2 relegated teams in 2 weeks and didn't do badly at all.

Deulofeu's goal:

Its not unorganised at all. This thread was initially for Barca B, though other youth info can be posted here as well. Its easiest to find everything here Khaled.

Explain to me how its unorganised, I don't understand. If other people agree, I'm happy to do something, but we agreed before we only really wanted 3 sticky threads... and this is perfect.

because in this thread we are mixing between Barca B & Juvenil A results etc..
its better if we have a thread for each team.. in this way if someone wants to get info about Barca B previous matches, he can easily find it.. while here we will get confused between Juvenil A & Barca B results..

we can post here (La Masia thread) Juvenil results/other youth teams news & another thread just for Barca B!

I don't see how its confusing... all one has to do is look at the name 'Barca B' as opposed to Barcelona Juvenil A etc...

I think its better if everything is here. Khaled, you and I are the most interested in the youth. Not many others really look at this stuff that often so its best to have it all in 1 thread. That way everything is easily accessible.

That is my take. As this is the youth thread... I want the most interesting youth (Barca B) in here. The other teams I'm really not that interested in yet. Most of the young stars have already moved into Barca B!

As I said before, this is just my opinion, if you like, ask Dani about it and others. If they all agree I'm wrong I'm happy to change it Smile

On topic: How do you think we'll go in u19 UCL?? Looks like we're pretty strong. Will Deulofeu or any of those guys be likely to play any games?

okay Smile keep it here..
----

we already won our first 2 matches against celtic & mancity (both away)... don't know what's the level of other teams.. but from groupstage results, it seems that tottenham, ajax, sporting & maybe liverpool will compete with Barca on the title.. matches are not broadcasted on tv Mad which sucks :S

Kizz, you asked in some thread if I had watched Barça B or youth games this season. I haven't been able, I had very busy weekends to the extent that I missed Barça games even. I've only watched half Barça B game. A friend of mine catched a couple of Juvenil A games and is hyping Sergi Samper, he says he is a crack on the making, another CM.

Watched half of Juvenil A win vs. Mallorca (both were topping the league) 2-1.

Goals: Dongou ar first half.
Mallorca tied.
Miguel Ángel scored a great free-kick in minute 93.

Dongou is very good but he needs to improve a bit his technique. As many of the cameroonian players, I've got doubts about his age though.
Miguel Ángel, which I didn't know of him, looked like the best player for Juvenil A.
Sergi Samper was meh, but showed some good movements and passing considering he is only 16. Very weak defensively (plays the DM).
Barça's right back is a beast, but again he is cameroonian and it casts doubnts of his age.

Today Juvenil team is playing in the NextGenSeries against Marseille at the Mini Estadi. Entrance is free, a pitty I'm not living in Barcelona anymore or I would go. Anyway, attendance is likely to be very low.

I think they are playing at 20:15. Barça TV and catalan public channel Esports 3 will give the game I think, so it's possible that there are streamings out there.

I'll try to watch it.

We won 4-1, Marseille was tied with us before the match, with 2 wins each. Dongou scored a hattrick and Ernesto the first goal (tap in). Dongou scored two very good goals, and especially the first, the 2-0, was a great combination with Samper. 3rd was a corner (Grimaldo took it), and third a very good individual play. If he is 16 he really looks promising, a stronger Eto'o. Miguel Angel was good and Samper better than the last game I watched, but he is sooooo slow (althoughtoday he defended very well positionally). Grimaldo had a bad game, sorry khaled.

Sounds good, I hope your fears about Dongou aren't true.

It appears our team could even win this tournament as well.
