Re: Milan,a new generation.
So i think they would buy a brand new DM i suppose...(Well they might need new additions in many areas actually.)
Or would they stick with Bakaye Traore
Or would they stick with Bakaye Traore

tbf, we have known that this might happen for some time. Nobody expected them all to leave on the same day though!Cassius_Case wrote:MVB - http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2012/05/12/3097592/breaking-news-van-bommel-announces-he-will-leave-ac-milan

Ideally, we should get PSV's DM, Strootman, as a replacement.

No but if Silvio's doesnt sell a percentage of his shares as reported in your section than maybe you may have to sell your best players to acquire new players..
Selling Ibra imo might not be a big deal..Milan are already not that well placed for FFP.

If they want cash for big player they have to sell Pato .... Ancelotti didnt forget about him yet ...

Re: Milan,a new generation.
Ibrahimovic is a cancer to Milan who is hindering Pato's development..I say get rid of him and reinstate Pato into the squad and sign another forward..Pato when he was focal point of the team under Leo was awesome.but its unlikely it would happen especially with Allegri around.

Pato IS the new generation
Just because he had a bad year , doesn't mean he's finished . As i said in the section , he's just 22 not 32.

Re: Milan,a new generation.
I agree with this. The question is, what if PSG throw stupid cash at us for Pato, like in the 40-50 mil region?Dante13 wrote:pUsHa wrote:If they want cash for big player they have to sell Pato .... Ancelotti didnt forget about him yet ...

No way .... Sell our best player and put our hope in a very talented player hindered by injuries ? We have no creativity in our midfield whatsoever so Pato is useless with this midfield because he had the passing abilities of a chicken and needs space to get past players wich Leonardo and Ancelotti gave him by having him play as an inside forward coming from the wings ... but listening to Pato he clearly wants to be a ST.
Ofcourse PSG will throw stupid cash ... Ancelotti is in mad love with Pato ...

Re: Milan,a new generation.
Ibra can't leave. His contribution has been immense.
He does have poor chemistry with Pato, but that can improve if they play together more often. pUsHa is spot on about our midifeld - it's lack of creativity has really been most at fault for Pato's poor form when he has played this season.
Injuries are my main concern though. We've talked a lot about transfers in this thread, but I think it's worth noting here that Milan Lab needs some serious reform, as does the San Siro pitch.

Re: Milan,a new generation.
There is no point keeping pato as a reliable option ,unless he accept a pay per you play deal. If it wasnt for him banging Berlus daughter i highly doubt he will still be at Milan.
Re: Milan,a new generation.
31 years old
9M wages..
Not the ideal player to build your future team around..The problem with Ibra is tactics always tend to be one-dimensional with Ibra around especially when you need flexibility in big games.
Just look at Milan-Bate game for example..Robinho's and Pato's chemistry was excellent.Ibra has this happy knack of not getting along with players which doesnt suit him and add to that he is fcking lazy and arrogantly shouts at his mates if things dont go well.Team Work is lacking with Ibra around.
Sell this mercenary ,buy Ganso..Robinho-Ganso-Pato and we're back to Samba Football again.

I don't know what Milan will do . What i know for certain , is that we won't find a player with Pato's quality , anywhere and no matter the money we get.
He's too valiable for Milan , but many don't see it. He's been with us since he was a teenager , he has grown with Milan , he knows our goals , our ways , our powers and he's a rare talent , there's not a player in Italy like him.
Milan would be mad to accept even 50m for him , yes , even if after all these injuries. Injuries can be fixed , a loss in quality can't be fixed. That's what will happen and we all saw it this season , with Pato missing game after game.
We need Pato as much we need Cassano , Silva , Boateng , Abate and Ibrahimovic.

And who's going to fix him ? Nobody fixed him 2 years of constant injuries when nobody even touches him ... not even doctors from USA or Germany could help him ...
