I would argue he wasn't.

He was a security purchase, if we didn't win the CL, we wouldn't have got Hazard, Oscar and Moses, who buried him down the pecking order before he even began. Obviously his injuries would have been a problem but we did have other options.

He was made redundant before June 2012 though.

Ok maybe not Atsu but Benny was just as bad, got injured in his first season, was loaned to Arsenal. Left the club. Sounds an awful lot like Marin to me.

Quaresma is Quaresma and should have never been signed.

did he even get a solid minute during his time with us? Laughing

I actually liked Quaresma. He was the king of YouTube when he came to us on loan. I wish he lived upto his potential.. The only memory I have of him in a Chelsea shirt is when he went past a defender or two and completely messed up the shot.
