i dont think granero will leave unless he really wants to. hes been getting much more playing time. hes very valuable to the club

Granero is an ok player but certainly overrated by the likes of you. No one even knows what position he is best at, and he has little game.

Lass is leaving the club, and everyone is calling for Sahin to get a fair shake.

and the double pivot of Khedira and Alonso is unbalanced, getting swarmed weekly in la liga.

Buying a couple of players to improve the current team is not a squad make over ffs. Why are people acting like Madrid will spend another 500 million lmao. Anyone can see that we need a RB that is not only good defensively but one that can add something to our attack. Arbeloa offer absolutely nothing going forward.

Khedira is a good player, but him and Alonso together isn't working as great as we need it do.

We may have 3 or 4 players leaving potentially too. Lass, one of Carvalho/Albiol, Kaka and Sahin?(hopefully not).

If I had to make one signing it would be Javi Martinez.

I think we only need a new RB and a new DM (Javi), sell Lass and Kaka....for any other players we would play our youth and second team in things such as the copa del rey to help integrate them into our team.

what i mean is that we need a DM who can actually defend.

The team defends just fine imo, we need a player in midfield who can hold on to the ball and move it forward when needed.

Depends Zealous, I think you could still very effectively use Makelele in a 433. Not many teams play the formation but he fits the role of anchor man behind the two CBs quite well. It depends what kind of tactics you play, imagine pairing up Cabaye and Makelele, it doesnt look to far fetched, one attack, the other defends.

Funny enough that's what we did with Cabaye and Tiote in the 4-4-2...... one sits and the other attacks they actually often took turns doing that depending on the scenario.

Problem was that on a defensive scenario it was very good but going forward we wasnt able to create enough going forward.

The fact that Obertan was our most creative source for most of the season didnt help mind.

But yh it can still work.
