I am posting this here because I can just anticipate the outrage and disgust the rest of the forum would have for this particular stat.

Fernando Torres : 11 goals and 16 assists in 2810 minutes = goal/assist every 104 minutes.

By Comparison.

Roberto Soldado : 27 goals and 6 assists in 3769 minutes = goal/assist every 114 minutes.

Pedro : 9 goals and 6 assists in 2345 minutes= goal/assist every 156 minutes.

From what I've seen this season, Torres has greatly improved his overall game due almost exclusively to poor finishing luck and a complete lack of creativity within the squad. His work rate has been immense as well.

People will laugh and joke and act like he's been the worst footballer on the planet , but I don't think he has. It hasn't been a great season but he certainly hasn't been the flop of the decade as some would like to claim.

And it certainly wouldn't be the most shocking and horrible decision in the history of football for him to get to go to the Euros.

He is Certainly better than what people think. They are still calling him a flop.
