Robben: Juve have great future
Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has fuelled suggestions that he could join Juventus at the end of the season.
The Dutchman has been named as a possible transfer target for the Turin giants and he didn’t exactly shut the door when asked about the Old Lady.
“The interest of a great club like Juventus is always pleasing,” he told Sky Sport Italia after Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.
“Juventus have had a great season, they are looking to rebuild and they have a team with a great future.
“I’m very happy at Bayern, but I still haven’t signed a contract extension and you never know what will happen in football.”
The winger, born in January 1984, is only tied to the Bundesliga giants until June 2013. If he doesn’t sign this summer then Bayern will run the risk of losing him for free at the end of next season.

Re: Robben: Juve have great future
Juventus play with a system that 1. doesnt need wingers( If you keep to the 3-5-2 which i think you should) 2. requires team work
Both which rule out Robben, also Robben is far too predictable these days and doesnt involve himself in the build up of attacks at all.
Ribery is a far more dangerous player.
Juve would be wise to buy a LWB and a couple of forwards if the budget allows.

If they win the CL, I think Robben would go to Juve.

Re: Robben: Juve have great future
why would he leave a CL winning side? his chances to win again are much higher by staying at Bayern with a group that is battle ready and proven.Raptorgunner wrote:If they win the CL, I think Robben would go to Juve.

Re: Robben: Juve have great future
Juventus needs better guns in every single position of their front three (assuming 4-3-3).
Why not?
Why not?

3-5-2 fits all your players more than 4-3-3 imo and most of your players can switch between many systems and adaptable.......
Plus Robben is a lazy *bleep* which Conte hates, not only do i see you not going for him i dont think he's needed.

Bonucci is a bum, so I don't really see 3-5-2 as any more of a fit. They need to add pieces either way.

It's funny you say that because ever since they have been using 3-5-2, Bonucci's performances have improved dramatically.....
Also agree with need to buy, but they would need to buy less with 3-5-2 than 4-3-3 imo.

Bonucci has directly cost us almost 10 points this season with his mistakes.I admit. But again i have to say you cant entirely blame him cuz of forwards have missed a bottle load of chances in those same games. And i havent seen him being completely raped or destroyed by any attacker in Serie A for that matter.
At the moment,he has been in good form and rock solid at the back but looking back at the season apart from those errors which has cost us some points ,i think he has been pretty consistent in my opinion. He just like Pique is prone to concentration lapses.
Conte does see the potential in him which is why he plays him so regularly. If he keeps his good form going to the next season,we'll be playing 3-5-2 regularly and he' gonna be a regular fixture in the squad.Hence Mole's suggestions make sense.

Re: Robben: Juve have great future
Honestly Robben can leave, he's an ingrate always saying anything can happen in football, who stood by him when Madrid dumped him? Who stood by him when injuries were ripping him apart.
Robben should leave, Muller will take his position and we'll just have to buy few more players in addition to Shaqiri and I ahead Hazard requested from Van Buyten about Bayern.
