Re: Granero
Needs to mature more...
Not given enough time at Madrid & will probably find himself being loaned or sell in summer...

Re: Granero
Should have come to Arsenal.
Good player wasted at Madrid. He should go look for some 1st team soccer somewhere.
Would boss most PL midfields, easy.

He would have gone to Liverpool if not for Khedira's untimely injury

Great passer, on his day our best midfielder with alonso. does stupid stuff like take alot of shots, but he has his qualities.

Re: Granero
Comparison side by side with his performances.
I prefer him over Kheidra any day.
Just the thought of a future midfield partnership with Sahin seems so sexy.

Re: Granero
Granero-Sahin wouldn't work. There's not defensive minded player or a workhorse to make it work.
I guess you still needed the depth.

Re: Granero
You mean thought?
Unless we get him for under 10m, I don't think we need him. We need a quality winger and someone that can finish off chances up top as our main priorities.

Take him; sell Adam. Our depth chart doesn't actually change, and we've improved on quality. I'd do it in an instant.ynwa wrote:You mean thought?

Re: Granero
Yes its true Liverpool need a winger and a forward but id argue they need a partner for Lucas and back up for Lucas.
Seriously your midfield has fallen to pieces since Lucas injury, i would look at Faurlin from QPR as he can do both roles.
Granero would be a good signing tho.

Don't really need another midfielder if we buy another winger though. Henderson can just slot straight through the middle, and he's superior to Adam in every way. Lucas, Spearing, Gerrard, Henderson, Shelvey and Adam will be enough. Though, if we can get him for cheap I will take him. He's a good player, not denying that... just have other priorities...

That's harsh. I'll be honest, I wasn't a fan of Adam when he was at Blackpool, but he has shown he wants to be here at Liverpool. He did okay when he partenered up with Lucas, and gave it his all but couldn't adjust to playing as a DM which resulted in frustration... and ultimately the start of his downfall.

Re: Granero
As far as iam concerned Henderson, Spearing and Adam are not good enough and Gerrard is not a CM to begin with and ( Everton game aside) has only performed this season coming off the bench.
