Vatan: Nuri Sahin is a superb freekick specialist.What do you think about it?
CR7: if the freekick is in the ideal position for me,I'll shoot them before anyone so much to freekick specialists.
Vatan: what's your opinion about Sahin and Altintop?
CR7: I don't really know them therefore can't evaluate. I only saw them few times in Bundesliga.I'll do everything I can to help them integrate into the squad.
Vatan: what's your opinion on Ozil?
CR7: he is a key player in our squad already.He integrated himself seemlessly and plays phenomenal football.

So the ideal position for him is on the right Still, Sahin could take freekicks all over the field. I'd let CR7 take the ones from which he could score but not the ones from ridiculious angles

Yeah unfortunately Cris taking all the free kicks is one of the few consequences of having him, it can get pretty frustrating especially when you see the numbers.

Sahin is going to have to talk with Ozil

Sahin does have better range tho.

I think Sahin should take free kicks from close range and Ronaldo from the position he usually scores from.

That's one reason why we should sell CR7 to the best bidder.

Ronaldo's FK success rate is so bad mostly because of that ankle injury, and the fact that he takes them from crazy angles.

His rate is very bad because he try to score from impossible angles.

His freekicks were great in his first season at Real Madrid especially in the Champions league. He was doing fine in early on last season, but had a dip midway through the season. But he recovered around the time of the 4 clasico's where most of his freekicks were on target. He also scored 2 freekicks in two attempts against Villareal, I think he scored the highest number of direct freekicks in the top leagues last season.

I read somewhere that one of his doctors told him that he would damage his knee and ankle if he kicked his freekicks as he used to last year and early in this one... so he was making adjustments to his fk style. Not sure if it's true. But it does make sense. You don't go from a lethal fk taker to a horrible one overnight. Something had to have changed technically.

Yeh I read that somewhere too. Another indication was his desire to hit 40 when he reverted back to his old technique then he scored 2 out of 2 vs Villarreal.
