Who will inherit #10?

Seeing as most of the Bianconeri on here don't want his retur, and you CANNOT retire shirt numbers, who is your preference for the #10? Jovetic seems like the ideal choice atm.

I would ideally retire it like I said in the Gio thread just before this was made. But if it had to be re-used it would be for a big summer signing and Jovetic/Higuain would be fine. Just seeing the Number 10 on another player will make me break down in tears like an 8 year old girl. Embarassed

I'm still praying he stays on, I dont think the shirt should be retired. No player is bgger than the club. I Hope Jovetic signs. I'm still praying fro Aguero tbh.

every number can be retired...but no 10 has a special meaning, a team without a 10 lacks something.

I think he means that if you HAD to chose a replacement. I think most of the replies would be "Retire it" otherwise.

Edit: Yeah you can retire them because Maldini and Baresi had retired numbers I believe.

oh ok, I figured, didn't want to assume Razz

IMO, regardless, Del Piero is a legend and he should be remembered by retiring that number, and if you CAN NOT do that, something has to be done for his name to forever be remembered.

the #10 should not be retired. there have always been great numer 10s in our history, its is symbolic for the club. It is a beacon of light in the darkness

OT who should we get? I still feel Giovinco could work. He might be the extra bit of quality we need, not quite fantasia, but he has unpredictability and could be decisive.

I always said we should call the stadium "stadio Del Piero" But yes something needs to be done.

Giovinco would be the obvious choice but his comments towards Juve have been disrespectful. It's not the clubs fault that some managers did not rate him. Number 10 will always be associated with ADP and the replacement should be respectful like he is.

Btw I think there should be a golden #10 with 10 made out of gold and that jersey to be retired and held high in the Juve HQ and Stadium only for del piero, and another regular 10 for other players.

no definatley not a #10. The problem with Calcio is that the fantasia has become extinct. Giovinco can step up, I have faith.
