Re: Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool
Wrong picture, stop trying to troll. That pass was for Ben Afra.

Troll? Wow.
Anyways, I think that ball was not touched by Ben Arfa as he jumped away when Flano made his challenge. It went straight to Cisse without a touch. Trying to find the highlights right now to confirm. I might be wrong.

I mean Carroll has gone round the keeper, the net is open, why the f are u diving ? wtf ? Just shoot!
Game could have been different had he scored that goal

Re: Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool
The pass was made to Ben arfa initially, but I dont know if he touchd it or not, regardless, the ball then went to cisse
The offside rule has major flaws in it. So not sure whats meant to happen there, and the linesman didnt know either.

That pass wasn't directly to him. Wrong pic to use.
There was no touch in between the pass. It went straight to Cisse.
Cmon man, really? Watch that 2nd goal again. That pass was to Arfa, and he DID touch the ball.

Re: Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool
It took the faintest of touches off Ben Arfa, meaning that Cisse wasn't offside, if I remember correctly.

From the highlights you cant really make out if it touches Ben Arfa. The ball does wobble after crossing Arfa and Flano, But that could be because of the pitch. If Arfa did touch it, Cisse was probably onside.
Anyways.
Anyways.

Cisse . Would start in many top teams, IMO. Hell of a player.
Newcastle with a new midfielder and some depth is better than Liverpool, no frakking kidding.

Yep i explained that at the time but now there is proof thanks
Btw in 3 games Ba-Cisse-Ben Arfa have played together there has been 6 goals and 5 assists between the 3 of them
Cisse scoring 5 of them and Ben Arfa assisting 4 of them

Ba hasn't looked good out wide tho and I think he has played 7 games without a goal now...
Still, that forward trio is deadly and a Newcastle with depth could compete imo.

Re: Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool
Disagree, Ba was fantastic again....... his dribbling, link up play, passing and flicks to open up attacks and work rate to make space for others more than makes up for his lack of goals.
He's been unlucky not to score and quite frankly i dont care if he doesnt score hes overall game is so good and provides so much outside of goalscoring to the team.
Infact in this role has made me respect how good of a player he really is he may not score as much in this role but he provides so much more for the team and more involved in the game.
Plus if people only care about his goals then that means people wont buy him
What an awesome way to make him stay Pardew

In the early days of the season, people were saying how Ba was the luckiest striker in the EPL and how hisrun of form would soon come to an end. Well, you could say the run has ended, but he's still playing well. He may not be the one scoring the goals, but he's creating them. People have to remember that he's no longer being asked to score in the same way he was before Cisse arrived at NUFC. He's not the focus of the attack, but he could still be deadly if left unattended.
I have nothing against Newcastle. Today they were the better team. We simply continued our run of utterly embarrassing ourselves in the league. The only possible complaint is for the handball on the goal-line by Simpson. That moment could have changed the game, but calls are missed and it doesn't make up for our otherwise poor performance.

How about we put Walcott on a five year deal, let him have one good season then sell him to Liverpool for 35 million

Re: Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool
Thing is, they've got the PERFECT manager for what they want to achieve. Pardew is an amazing scout! He has an eye for players that arre low profile and just waiting to be discovered and explode!
He brought Tevez to England for cheap and Tevez went on to be a star.
He brought Mascherano to England for cheap and Mascherano went on to be a star.
Carroll would have been special if he had stayed a little longer with Pardew. I think he left too early for Liverpool.
I'm not surprised at all. Pardew has got to be the best scout in England. You'll continue to see more of his magic.
