Re: Barça present complaint about condition of Giuseppe Meazza pitch
i too didnt see anything wrong with the pitch. i did notice that every now and then a player would slip, but it wasnt just barca players i saw milan players slip as well.

And wow, people are still discussing Arsenal? We utterly destroyed then in the 1st leg and then at the 2nd leg, we got complacent and got a much needed reality check and held on our lead in the 2nd half. Tie finished 4-3, we were the better team and that's that
Can't you read? The UEFA officials deemed the pitch condition suitable, which means the pitch was suitable to play on.
The reason you didn't win was due to some outstanding defending from Antonini, Ambrosini, Bonera and Nesta. Get over it.
Sigh.

Face it you are just having trouble sleep at night yourself because freakin Bonera and Antonini of all people, held on the might Barca.

Re: Barça present complaint about condition of Giuseppe Meazza pitch
LM is right it wasnt done according to regulations, but still its ridiculous to complain about it when the main issue according to barca were the players slipping all the time

Wait,so first Barcelona players and fans say that the pitch is too wet and slippery. Now they say that the pitch wasn't watered. Now I don't have a degree in agriculture, but I think that watering the pitch makes the pitch more slippery and wet doesn't it?

Re: Barça present complaint about condition of Giuseppe Meazza pitch
The fact of the matter is that the pitch was in a pitiful condition for one of the best sides in Europe. This is not up for debate. Another fact of the matter is that Barca had a gentleman's agreement with Milan that they would water the pitch and they failed to do so. Barcelona are understandably upset with this deception (:vagi:) and as a result have filed a complaint.
But it's also true that there are no rules regulating the state of the pitch other than that it has to be made of grass. Barca might file a complaint, and Milan might have not acted in a fair play way, but they didn't break any rules.

Re: Barça present complaint about condition of Giuseppe Meazza pitch
Explanation? Are your eyes so full of tears that you can't read? Pitch wasn't watered due to high humidity, not that it matters anyway because Barca didn't have any complaints about the pitch when they trained the day before and UEFA officials deemed it suitable. What are you gonna blame in the second leg, Milan poisoning Barca's gatorade?

Are you two honestly questioning that milan didnt water the pitch when milan infact has already admitted that they didnt?

Re: Barça present complaint about condition of Giuseppe Meazza pitch
Also, Barca almost scored off Messi slipping when taking a FK in the 5th minute, if Keita would have the sense to kick a ball at thigh-high rather than attempt to head it...

Re: Barça present complaint about condition of Giuseppe Meazza pitch
Like I'm going to believe whatever excuse they pulled out of their ass to try and cover the fact they were just trying to get whatever advantage possible over Barca? Learn to read bud, Barcelona trained before the pitch was supposed to be watered, how could they know Milan would break the deal that was agreed upon and not water the pitch? Obviously Barcelona are going to complain.M99 wrote:Explanation? Are your eyes so full of tears that you can't read? you clearly have not watched a Sunderland match, the pitch could be in the Sahara and players would still slip

I dont know if you saw last night game but the players were slipping all the time.
Here are 2 examples.
at 0:28 iniesta slips when there is no one who is pressuring him
1:24 messi falls when he is going to take a freekick.
Milan didnt water the pitch and the pitch was slippery, so I dont understand why the laugh :/
Maybe you are laughing because you think that the pitch being slippery = easier to make pass/dribble? In that case the reason why the pitch was slippery was not because of the water(its the water that makes it easier to pass and dribble) but because the pitch was in a awful state that the grass was coming out if place whenever the tried to to change direction..

As I said when I edited that post, the pitch was slippery because of the state of the grass. The studs on the boots didnt help at all seeing as the only thing that the studs did was bring big chunk of grass out of its place, instead of what they are suppose to do..
oh and le samurai did you criticize mou when he complained about the moscow pitch? I bet that you didnt as we all know how hypocritical real madrid fans are...

Difference between Real and Barca: Real Madrid Played on an artificial CSKA's turf, no complaint. Barca played on grass, yet crying.
