Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
To be honest Juve even when not playing a derby replicate that kind of atmosphere.
And the Juve atmosphere is actually very loud. I'm thinking some watchers come across the channels where the commentary is louder and the fan noise is drastically reduced.

Juve's atmoshere in the new stadium is very loud. I think they put microphones in or nearby the areas where the Ultras are chants. I know that the EPL does it. I was surprised how clearly I could hear the more vulgar version of "Chi non salta nerazzurro e"

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
Not THE best but for sure ONE of the best. In the top 2 in Italy imo.
This season Juve's home support has been great, by far one of the most consistent and noisy clubs in Europe from match to match. If we could pull off shows like we did when we beat inter Milan 2-0 ( ) at least once a month I would be very happy!
Napoli have insane atmosphere when their fans step it up. Probably the best in Italy. There's a few teams with crazy atmosphere like River and Boca, fernabanche and shaktar, usually when Celtic and rangers play there's an electrifying feeling.

You are right, this is the real picture from Inter sideTomasso wrote:Luca proving my point. Showing a photograph of the end product does nothing to show the means of how it was accomplished.

Great, but still not like the wall of awesome that is walking into Dortmunds stadium. Also not as batshit insane as the Istanbul clubs.
But great, nonetheless. Sometimes it's not about "better" or "more" anyway, it's "different, but equal" in many cases IMHO.

Marseille is always up there... the stadium is being renovated, so it's a bit weird this year since 1/3 of the stansd are kept empty for construction. But those fans are crazy.

The SerieA has the worest atmosphere of all top-leagues. I often watch games where 60% of the stadion are empty , I mean WTF?
But the vid is nice

Dortmund/Schalke, St,Pauli, Greek teams, Turkish teams, OM, Spanish teams when they want to which isn't nearly enough imo.

@Zeal...El Molinon is amazing but it's a really agressive vibe , not really singing anything in particular.
Anyway...Liverpool and Stoke should be there as well

While that's sort of true, there's always exceptions to any rule.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
Yes, they do. AFAIK Köln, St. Pauli and BMG almost always sell out as well. But Bundesliga is managed way differently from other leagues, I'm not sure the comparison is fair.
Though in that regard, it is certainly the top dog of leagues.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
That's a brutal exaggaration. Of course Serie A stadiums are rarely full (excluding a few teams like Juve this year), but they still have great atmosphere in many matches (ofc talking about top teams mostly)BAYERN_MUNICH wrote:The SerieA has the worest atmosphere of all top-leagues. Also it's obvious that most 1st division German matches are sold out, which deserves a huge respect, but I think that's partly a different thing. So saying that is has the worst atmosphere probably means you don't watch enough Italian football
On topic, I think Juve is surely in top10 in Europe, maybe top5, but that's still a great accomplishment seeing the Juve stadiums since Calciopoli.. Great improvement.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
You are right I just started watching SerieA since Sky began to show it a few months ago. I mean the atmosphere from the people who are in the stadium is nice, but it seams that mostly only the Ultras go to the stadiums so its nothing compared to a sold-out stadium.
But i didn't watch many top-games thats true. I was just shocked when i saw a Serie A match with just a few thousand fans. I mean this is your first league, and i thought football is quiet popular in Italy.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
Pretty simple: In countries and locations in a country that get cold during the winter = crowds are not that crazy usually other than the ultras during winter months. Too busy trying not to freeze to death. In warmer climates, people tend to be merrier lol.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
The point about the noise is correct. Often the crowd sound is reduced but yeah, It's hard to compete with the atmosphere in an Istanbul derby. I guess I could judge if I went to both games.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
The crowd volume is definitely turned down on TV. You are not getting all of the sound in your living room.
Even Old Trafford public library is somewhat loud when you are actually there. Man City's stadium is also decently loud. I can only imagine how loud it would be in a Istanbul derby when you are actually there.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
i can't post a external link......but i can guarantee that the juventus stadium atmosphere is the best in italian serie A. The conformation of the stadium makes the voices very intense and it's impossibile talk to your neighbor when the ultras sing. soon the european teams too will realize that.

Re: Juventus atmosphere, the best in Europe?
The conformation of our Allianz Arena is so fail, the guest-block is directly under the roof so the sound of guest fans are doubled or trippled in comparison to the Südkurve Ultra-block.
