Why the huge surprise?

This happens to many other teams who give up after the first goal against Barca.

Individual bad performances, especially the goalie vs a Barca team full of firepower.

gaolie was not at fault, it was their stupid coach for playing a highline and not being able to execute it.... i mean their goal was delicate it was just the tactics they used and the fact they let barca have all the time in the world to pick a pass

how many times where barca players 1v1 with him??? 6??

He gave Messi the ball for a tap in and let a straight forward Tello shot in under his arm.

I dont blame him, he was probably sick of the utter crap in front of him and gave up. But those two were clearly his fault, while his effort for Tello's 1st and Messi's 2nd were not exactly stellar.

he was covering the near post for tellos goal, where was the righ back???

again the backline(or tactics) failed him and he had to perform on his own, saving what couldve been tellos hattrick when they were 6-0 down... i mean he couldve just given up like the others but didnt

It's actually because many BL fans understandably want their teams to be well represented. Yet with this inept showing it's natural for them to be resentful of the team of representation.

Why shouldn't I rate serie A? It's a strong league. Nothing to do with the 0 force in Europe that Bundesliga is since 10 years ago.

Well they never had a chance did they... They lost at home and needed to score 2 goals at the Camp Nou, a ground we're undefeated at since 09 in the UCL... I actually thought he prepared them reasonably well tactically. Watch the first half and you'll see he did all he could to get those goals back. I thought they played well until Messi scored and we were really ordinary in the first half. Thing is, as I've always said, the main thing you need to beat Barca is luck. They had none and they needed a truckload. They gave up when they were 5-1 down on aggregate, and ehile you can write them off etc. At the end of the day most men would have been deflated and broken by that point, sometimes it happens.

Score blew out because Messi's finishing is incredibly brilliant.
