I sincerly believe that Higuain is better than Soldado. As a striker, I would probably give a 8/10 to Higuain, and a 7 to Soldado. In comparison, I would rate Benzema as a 9, and Ibra/RVP as 9.5.

Soldado clearly has a celing in terms of potential. However, Soldado's improvement in the last two years have been so remarkable, I would have never thought of it. If people remember, just this season, Valencia were interested in buying Gamiero to be their first choice striker. Shows how much faith they had in Soldado primarily because they had Adruiz and Jonas at that time both of whom were unlikely to leave given their recent arrivals. But Soldado did prove the doubters wrong this season. Still, I rate Higuain higher. He just adds so much more than Soldado.

Wasn't just this season. Followers of La Liga sort of questioned Valencia's reasoning when they signed Soldado from Getafe considering his form at Getafe was very iffy. However, the man has risen to the challenge greatly and I'm glad for him.

tbh fighting for scraps with ronaldive is still better than having a supporting cast of feghouli, pablo and piatti...
