Were our recent performances in serie A bait to make wenger think we were slow and cumbersome?...I seriously don't see why we cant play this way against other teams.

Particularly in that game, Arsenal has been very sloppy and undisciplined in defending. You don't see that kind of defending day in day out in Serie A. Besides, in the league, we are the big team so many park the bus against us, while in CL, we are (perceived as) the underdogs, making the game more open. I think Arsenal took us lightly (perhaps from the media hype and that 2-0 drubbing years ago + bad records against EPL team) and was made to pay (very) dearly.

One striking example I saw was when Robinho/Antonini dribbled his way through the left flank, every single Arsenal player drifted to the left leaving Abate/whoever on the right plenty of spaces to exploit.

many reasons... we just got boateng back, and we got off to a great start, so that benefited for the rest of the game. also the pitch did help us, since it played a role in minimizing arsenals wing plays. and lastly arsenal defence was basically shit today, AND they were not parking the bus like previously mentioned. teams that attack us, barca, arsenal, we were always able to get out some good results/games.

We got our engine in the midfield in Boateng, he really energized the entire team. Ibra and Robinho were clicking together like never before and like other people said, Arsenal didn't park the bus. We are really dangerous when we have space, especially with Ibra playing the way he was, so it was easy to exploit those gaps.

Plus I think Milan just had everything going for them. From what I've read, just about all our players were on form and all of Arsenal's players were off form, what are the odds of that happening from Matchday 1 to Matchday 38 in Serie A
